Cardiac or...Agility?

so I hadn't even realized they added new alphas(been gone for a bit x_x)


and...well, I'm wondering if my character would benefit from Agility's T4 bonuses more than Cardiac's.

I play a fortunata, run 10 toggles at any given time so I'm pretty end heavy

I have the numina+Recov and a performance shifter chance to +recov.

I also have a few other...things.

I can pretty much almost softcap most people using all of my buffs.

but I know I could benefit from the Def+ and the Recharge+, I'm wondering though, if I switch to agility...if it'll be me taking a hit on my blue bar. (I spam attacks like nobody's business). that is to say, I'm wondering if the endurance modification will balance out the lowered endurance costs...

You should be fine.

The only thing that might be an issue is the additional recharge might hurt because it will cause you to burn through end faster from attacking faster.

Agility doesn't do nearly as much for endurance problems as Cardiac does, especially when the endmod is only boosting Stamina. Of course, endurance problems can be solved in other ways (that's what we did for years before the alpha slot, after all), but leaving your build otherwise unchanged and swapping Cardiac for Agility might not have the results you want.

Yeah, Agility doesn't do much at all for endurance issues. It's a great alpha, but the endmod is not why you take it. Unless playing a Sapper of some sort, I guess.

Cardiac is definately better for Endurance issues.

I took agility on my forcefield / Electric blast Defender. I seriously doubt I could have selected a better alpha.

Maybe Vigor?

I originally used Cardiac for my Fortunata, who without alpha did have endurance issues, all the way up to t4, and later built up to t4 Agility as well. Agility is working great for me with the build I have, though it does have a fair number of recovery bonuses from its sets, so take that as you will.

I took Agility on my NB/Elec Stalker and skipped Power Sink. I think I'm nuts.

I have 4.04 ep/s recovery in my build with Agility on and 2 Perf. Shifter procs, and on my build, which I am building for defense, agility made sense because it gives me extra damage, defense and a bit of endurance help. Cardiac would have only offered me a bit or resistance and endurance reduction.

I tried Agility on my MA/SR scrapper and it just wasn't workable, so I re-slotted Cardiac. I had respeced into the end curve allowed by Cardiac, and Agility just wasn't cutting it with Stamina and Physical Perfection to work with.

On the other hand, my WM/Shield Brute uses Agility, and with Stamina, Physical Perfection, and Superior Conditioning, plus different set bonuses slanted more towards END he's perfectly fine.

All my Dark Armor characters run Cardiac. My Energy Aura and several WP's run Spiritual. One BS/WP runs Musculature.

Vigor gives the exact same end cost that Cardiac Radial does. Look at Vigor and see if it suits you better.
