you are correct, bruising is only applied with the tier 1 attacks in tanker sets, not using the tier 1 will mean you wont ever get the benefit of bruising
Bruising causes a 20% damage resistance debuff in your foe for 10 seconds. Which means the second time you hit them, you'll cause more pain!
Bruising rocks. And in the case of SS, lead with the jab was never so true!
Also, you are correct that it is only for Tankers. No other AT gets Bruising.

Oh hey, I just was wondering something about Bruising. From what I am seeing in Titan Weapons, since Defensive Sweep is their first attack and a cone, does it apply to every enemy hit? Is this as awesome in practice as it sounds?
As delightful as it would be to have bruising apply to everyone in the cone, sadly this isn't the case. Only the main target gets the bruising.

Bruising is tied to the T1 attack and only for Tanks right? I have one with SS that I was going to swap out his first attack with Air Sup bit I wanted to make sure I'm not losing the Bruising.
