So What's the Deal with VIP Support?
I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.
Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.
So sad to be ending ):
There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.
Well we could certainly say, "This is not an issue that requires in-game contact, and as such I will not be responding to /tells from a GM," but not only is there a limited reporting space...if this is the way the new policy goes, then we're basically doing a backwards witness intimidation. Without our testimony, there is not point in reporting the EULA/TOS breaker in the first place.

Then I guess they need to change the policy. I'm not going to stand around and re-hash what I already took the time to type up.

If the GM either cannot see the actual petition text (that should be fixed!), or
cannot be bothered to take the time to read it, I'd be pretty inclined to respond
with the appropriate level of snark such incompetence would deserve.
Thankfully, I can count on 1 hand the number of petitions I've sent in the past
couple years, so I've not encountered this issue yet.
That said, just reading this foolishness seriously inhibits my willingness to use the
/petition system at all unless I actually *need* to speak with a GM...
Unfortunate really, as I agree with Dumpleberry - the original policy wasn't broken
and didn't need fixing...

I've been rich, and I've been poor. Rich is definitely better.
Light is faster than sound - that's why some people look smart until they speak.

I had an issue last night where I sent a petition. I then closed my chat tabs other than those that had only Global channels in them.
Before logging out for the night I re-opened those chat tabs and saw that a GM had sent a tell about it and then asked a question in Local. After that, there was a comment by the GM that said something like they would check the logs and take action if warranted.
Since all of the information was in the original petition and nothing I could have said would have changed or added to that information, I didn't feel bad about closing those chat tabs.
I had already seen comments in a global channel that let me know it had been dealt with, so my lack of response didn't hinder them from taking action.
I could just as easily have left my chat tabs open and not responded to the GM and things would have happened the same and I'd have not felt any differently.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

I can /gignore the Kamen Rider clone all I want to, but that doesn't make him any less of a copyright violation, and it certainly won't be a point in NCSoft's favor if they get sued for it.
