*Confused* So overall for my fire/ss tanker, which power out of KO Blow, Haymaker, Burn or Blazing Aura should I slot the ATIO Proc in to get it to work properly and stack. Does the game count the Taunt Aura's base recharge as 10s or 2s or whatever the aura's actual reacharge is? I was thinking that the taunt aura I wouldn't have to think about it, but I am not sure now that it would ever proc more than once?

Help?

Based upon the way the proc SHOULD (but doesnt) work, I'd put it in haymaker. 8sec (memory) base recharge, it wont always fire, but should about 80% of the time (remember to add animation time to recharge time). Sadly, we dont have any powers closer to 10s to make it work.
It wont slot into a damage aura (I never found one that accepted it). The only primary powers on FA, I believe is consume (which isnt worth it, due to the long recharge). Why the damage aura's wont accept it, I dont know.

Burn is nice, since it will ALWAYS proc, even with no foes in range. Its a pet. I think they coded a pet, which tends to apply things like heal procs to itself (not the caster), and made it: click burn, automatic proc application. In fact, burn (currently) is the ONLY power I can ensure it will always work.

The game doesnt count taunt (gauntlet) as a timer, but AOE. The problem with the formula, its different for AOE's.
AOEs use the timer, AOE size, and # enemies in the AOE. Ergo, even footstomp (base recharge of 20s?), will NOT always proc on foes, while KO blow should proc (but doesnt, since there is the gauntlet aoe affecting it)

My opinion.
With burn (base recharge of 25secs), you should get it firing off every 12s (or less with other global recharge).
With AOE bug: recommend burn - in fact, you can do 2x burn, get +15% resistance to help with the alpha. With burn, you can have a constant 1-2 applications (7.5-15%) all the time.

Without AOE bug: haymaker - in theory, you should be able to triple stack it quite often, and its a great attack.

I have a fire/ice tank, not sure if it will go in GIS or freezing touch ... But for now, with the AOE bug, it stays in burn.

7-15% extra resistance is very nice, and using my alpha, I can cap SL

50 Tanks: Invul/ss, Fire/ice/fire, Ice/em, Stone/fire
WP/Stone, dark/dark, shld/mace

50 Other: WS, SS/dark/sc brute, BS/Regen/WM scrpr, fire/fire/force blaster, rad/kin corr, mind/rad ctrl, ill/storm cntrl

So, for my Shield/MA Tank, I am thinking putting the proc in Storm Kick. Less than 12s recharge though. Will it work there? I had initially planned to put it in Dragon's Tail.

It will work anywhere. It just do not expect it to fire every time you use Dragon's Tail. Spam it, and you should get by.

Okay, I've searched for information on exactly what Enhancement Catalysts will do to MoT. I know what they are supposed to do; however, I don't know the numbers. I thought I read them on the boards somewhere but I am unable to relocate them.

I have a full set of them and want to use them on my MoT. Can someone who knows the numbers, post them for me? I just want to confirm what they will do for me. Thanks.

Current active characters: Dragon Maiden (50+3 Brute SS/WP/PM), Black Widow Maiden (50+1 Night Widow), Catayclasmic Ariel (50 lvl Defender - Kin/DP), Quantumshock (50 lvl Elect/Energy/Energy), American's Defender (38 lvl Tanker - SD/Mace), Spider-Maiden (15 lvl Corruptor - RB/PD) & Siren Shrike (15 lvl Defender - Sonic/Sonic). They aren't on CoHTitan either...

Off the top of my head (far from my game computer - I do have a full set of these on one of my tanks), the proc checks 6 times a minute instead of 5. The individual enh benefits raise to something on par with purples, and set bonuses all up a notch - also on par with purples. Psi resist gets to 2.52% or something like that, for instance. I want to say the rech bonus steps up to 10%, but can't remember for certain.

I will check when I get home, if you still haven't gotten an answer.

Superior Might of the Tanker

The doubles provide 33.1% benefit each (i.e., Accuracy/Damage, Damage/Recharge)

The triples provide 26.1% each

The Quad provides 23.2% each

The Rech/Proc provides 23.2% rech, and the proc is timed to approximately 6 times per minute (instead of 5 for the un-catalyzed)

Set bonuses are:
2: Damage +4%
3: health +3%
4: recharge +10%
5: Toxic/Psi resistance +2.52%
6: Smash/Lethal resistance +2.52%

No problem.

Heads up before you rush off and catalyze a full set.

Some are suggesting the option of doing so for only 3 enhancements and doubling down on the health and damage bonuses.

Another option I saw was catalyzing the set, but splitting it into two powers to double-double down on those bonuses.

I slotted the full set for the rech and resists.

What is the duration of the proc when it fires?

I want to double up on all the modifications. Doing so will increase my defenses while boosting my global recharge to 95%.

Knight, you can't double all. The Catalyzed and un-Catalyzed versions of all ATO's mutually exclude each other. One of each enhancer, 6 total, is it.

The purple and non-purple versions don't play together either, so if you have oh say 5 MotT slotted in one power, and catalyze one enhancement, you now have 4 and 1 and would lose the 4th Toxic/Psi resist set bonus.

The character bound Catalyzed versions can only be slotted on a lvl 50. Their set bonuses are named exacly the same as regular Purple sets, so in particular, if you already had 5 regular purples for the 5 X 10% Ultimate Recharge Bonus, the ATO Purple 10% Ultimate Recharge Bonus would hit the Rule of 5 and not count. It is possible you might want to leave it un-Catalyzed if absolute Max Rechrge is your goal. My tank could not fit in a 5th Purple and is very happy the Purple MotT set filled that recharge need.

Tricky things, these new enhancers. Sure hope the Gauntlet bug is a bug and not WAI. The Brute Proc just got a bug fix, so here's hopin. (And sorry for all those who had their Fury proc in an AoE.)

I will actually change the entire MoT set to superior. Yeah, I'm aware of the rule of 5. I don't plan on using more than maybe 1 purple set, Hetacomb, in either Energy Transfer or Total Focus. Which would would I benefit the most from? I'm thinkg ET.

I've been trying to find a power to put the proc into my Inv/SS tanker, and been seriously thinking about having Jab as the power of choice. I spam it often to keep bruising on a target (even if it only stacks once), so would it work here, or should I look to slotting it in something with longer recharge time like Haymaker or even Knockout Blow?

It will work. It just will not proc each time you use [Knockout Blow] is all.
