You're a really good person. Normally I'd congratulate this, but you can't be a good person when business comes to play. Let your inner corporate demon take over!
In all seriousness, don't worry about it. It's nigh impossible to find out who truly spent that much on the money and putting all that accidental money to waste isn't going to make him/her feel any better.

Oh, I'm not worried about it
If someone came looking for their 270 million inf mistake I'd point and laugh It was just that this is the first time I've been a winner in the extra 0 lottery and had to post something. I do need the prestige for my sg base so some is going to get burned on the fire.
That's the spirit!
I've been a victim of an extra 0 mistake but shrugged it off within a few minutes.

Everybody who uses the market a lot has this happen. I've been on both sides of it and it's just part of the game. Kinda like bum calls by the referee in football. Congrats on your windfall.
I always use inf to build bases. I hate waiting to get all the teleports up so I spend, spend, spend until it's ready. I've got 8 SG bases that require care and feeding and only one of those was built on earned prestige.
yeah, most of my marketeering thus far has been nickle & dime stuff (crafted commons, a few 10-15 million inf crafted items) even though I've used the market for inf for building whatever I want for a long time... I've just started to stretch into the 30million+ crafted items and even 100million crafted items (*gasp*). Hero merits make it pretty easy to get into that part of the market.
Enough volume at 1million a pop adds up to billions. Not as easily as volume in the 25million+ bracket though.
By the way, it's not an off by one error, it's an order of magnitude error.
There's, um, an order of magnitude difference .
I picked up 750 million inf on a 75 million inf item the other day.
I did not feel bad. I felt quite pleased.

It may be that they deliberately overpaid on purpose just because they felt like it. I sold one salvage of silver for 50,000,000 inf once when I stuck it on the market for 9 inf just because I was emptying inventory.

So, I received 300m for a 30m enh on the market today. I feel guilty. I think I'll have to burn my guilt on a conversion fire and buy up some prestige or something.
