Poison Powers Question

Do Envenom and Weaken stack with multiple applications?

I rolled an Illusion/Poison Controller last night. I joined a DFB team and expected to run the trial. The leader then gets the whole team of 6 a power level instead. Now I'm 25 and haven't a clue if those powers stack. Thanks in advance.

They don't stack. But they do splash which gives me a smaller debuff to mobs around them. So you can do them both one target, and then same on target next to it, and they'll both be effected by the main debuff, and the small splash amount, giving you greater debuff in total

Thanks for the info. Sounds pretty good.

Is the splash debuff considered to be the same effect, or a different one? In other words, while the main effect wont stack on a foe, can you cast it again on an adjacent foe (who may already be affected by the splash from the first foe) with the advantage of having the lesser effect also splash back onto the first foe?

If the greater and lesser effect are considered the same (dont stack from same player) then I wonder, does the lesser effect on an adjacent foe prevent you putting the greater effect on? If not, does the lesser splash onto the original creature then replace the bigger effect with the weaker splash version? Or is the larger debuff kept even if it is about to wear off?

Hmm.

As I understand it, the greater and lesser debuffs will stack with each other, but not themselves...

The sad part is that I should probably know, because I have a level 34 fire/poison controller. I just never thought about it, so I didnt pay attention.

The AoE splash and single target value are separate effects. The stack with each other but never with themselves. This means that clumped foes have the potential for 1.5 times the total debuff value listed as affecting a single target (1x single target value plus 0.5x splash value).

Weaken lasts 30s
Envenom lasts 30s

Great info here! I'll add that Weaken and Envenom also offset when it's mob vs mob (-dam and -res, -tohit -def) which makes Poison a great secondary to any troller set with Mass Confuse powers.
