More power trays please
I would be happy to pick what "tray" a new temp power/new power landed in.
I would set it up for tray 9 so I could easily find it.
I present to you, the solution to all your problems!
/popmenu! It's freaking AMAZING! Hide all kinds of buttons under one macro button, or leave off all kinds of buttons by keybinding it instead. It has almost completely emptied out my non-standard trays.

I can't speak to anyone else's playstyle but my own—but I do indeed end up using all 90 slots, and indeed having them all visible at once in many cases.
For example, here's a screenshot of one of my CoH characters in question. |
I have 9 global channels added to the same chat tab, and have several tabs to pick a specific channel if needed. The way you have set it up, is clutter. You even have a chat tab that is just empty. 7 tabs visible is waaay to much.
The Paragon Market and Paragon Reward buttons can be hidden, access to both are on the menu tab.
5 out of those 6 Naga trays can be closed.
If you know how to look, you can switch trays without wasting much time, the - and = buttons will swap trays. I have 5 trays in 1 with this method, i can switch to an empty tray for Keyes and Lambda so the temps will fall in there and i'll have easy access to them. example: 5 trays in 1.. meaning middle tray is 3, when done with power/tray, make a habit of setting the tray back to 3, that way you only have to go two trays max to find a power.
The last naga tray could be the two for macro's, switch according to the trial you do.
Close the I/O window, u really need to see each drop?
Simple button click will open it, and close it.
If this screenshot is really how you play, then my tips will reduce your clutter.
However, i have the feeling you are just making it look worse then it is, and intentionally clutter your screen with these for the photo shoot.
Looking at your chat tabs, your double temp powers and a few more things, including the pet window while on a brute, i think my reason for believing this theory is valid.
My sincere apologies if this is not the case.
I do not mind more trays, don't get me wrong about this.
But people need to stop making a papercut look like they got stabbed by a sword.

For those who don’t believe it there are players who can easily exceed the maximum number of trays and I would support the devs adding more trays, assuming it doesn’t take very many resources.
Do I need more Trays? NO. Thanks to Pop Menu (If you have not tried it DO SO NOW!) and the fact that I know how to write code I am doing just fine. How ever many people rely on the Trays since they are unable to scrypt even a macro or bind let alone a Pop Menu structure. For these people I can easily see that 9 Trays are no longer enough. In fact when I switched to pop menu I started using more powers since I had the room to organize them. The same thing would happen with more trays. Many players would use more powers and be more likely to BUY powers.
With my play style I have used AT LEAST 86 powers in the last month while running missions. For those who seem skeptical heres a quick list of powers.
7 Primary,
7 Secondaries
9 Pools/ Anciliary
6 Travel Combat jump, Sprint, Ninja run, sprint w Stealth IO, Raptor & Jet temp fly packs ( I have 2 since I have run out of time mid combat on several occasions.)
7 Teleport powers Ouro, pocket D, Base, assemble Team, Mission TP, DayJob Went, Purchased Went,
11 Temp powers Nuke, Bio, Chem, Bow and arrow (to pull), Envenomed dagger (-500% regen), Hand Grenade, Etherial Shift, Recovery Serum, Resusitor, Kinetic Dampener, Stun Grenades.
5 Temp Pets HVACs, Shivan, Warwolf and Snowmen, Backup Radio
7 Accolade/Reward Eye Magnus, Crey Pistol, Work Bench, Geas, Vanguard, Elusive, Hero Alignment power.
7 Powers used when Exemplared down to level 15. Black wand, Nemesis staff, Sands of Mu, Aprentice charm, brawl, rest, Temp Bat (OK I actually use the first 3 even at 50, I just use them A LOT more when Exemplared)
3 Misc Powers Return to Battle, Reveal, Mystic Fortune
9 Incarnates 4 Lore, 2 Judgements, 3 Destinies
4+ Mission required temp power slots. I used 4 slots on just a Lambda recently.
4 Winter Seasonal Powers. frosty, Holiday Jet pack, Golden Rings, Renewal.
That’s 86 Slots of powers that I remember actually useing in combat or on a mission in the last month, there may be more.
Keep in mind these are just those powers that I use and can justify having easy access to. If I don’t impose MY ONE TWUE WAY of what powers are useful on others than I can easily see other players wanting 100 or more powers to be available. Check these out.
30-50+ Incarnate powers. Yes some people like to have and use them all, even Vorpal. And how many more are coming out. 50 is probably a safe guess.
10-50+? Market powers. from Hoverboard to Cats (Bet money there is one by years end). We already have 10 or more. Any one want to bet that my 50+ is to high? Yes there are people who buy them, and If people can't activate them people stop buying them.
25+ Halloween costumes. Yes RPers and others use them.
Up to 7+ for the poor smuck who is doing multiple arcs each with a temp power like Lost Wand. Personally I can’t figure it out. I’m still conditioned to only play 3 arcs at a time.
4-100+ Macros. I had 4 macros before discovering PopMenus, but I’m sure some players have dozens. Some Masterminds OR trial leaders could probably fill all there trays with just speech Macros.
5-10+ PvP and Arena Temp powers. I no longer PvP, but it is still a valid part of the game.
1-20 empty slots for staying organized. Not everyone thinks like me, but as an example before pop menu I had all my TP powers on one tray thus 2 empty slots at the end.
So yes, for those who don’t believe it there are players who can easily exceed the maximum number of trays. With Incarnate powers there are now players who could do it with just powers that are used on missions.
All i got to say is your all amazing. 9 Trays wth.
Tray 1 single/cone target Attacks
/bind Tab "goto_tray 2"
Tray 2 Ouro/PD/Base TP/MissionTP/Rest
/bind CapsLock "goto Tray 1"
Tray 3 PBAoE attacks/Short recharge Self Buffs (Aim, Destiny, etc.) and Travel powers (Ninja Run/SS and Raptor pack)
Tray 4 Long recharge buffs (Hasten), /bind E "Power", Toggles that drop when Mezzed.
Tray 5 (NOT VISIBLE) /bind T "powexec_toggleon"
I bind all my toggles to 1 Key. That 1 key turns on all toggles
With all this i still have room on those trays. Don't even use 6-9 and only half of tray 2.
On my Hamidon Tank I have ALL 42 commands for Hamidon Raids on 1 Tray. and only use 9 of 10 slots of the tray for them. JUSTICE server! HOME of Hamidon Raiders!
And for temp powers i just pull them into a tray when im about to use them. To have them on my trays all the time is kinda ummm... WHY! hehe Bio Nukes and Chem nukes and other great temps. How much do you really use them to keep them on the trays.
Something is wrong if your using 9 trays. Maybe revise how you do things.

For example, here's a screenshot of one of my CoH characters in question.
While I will admit I don't use all of those powers all the time, the awful way that the CoH powers tray is set up means that if I think I might need to use one of those powers at some point, it's better to have it in a tray where I can click on it (or, at need, temporarily swap it with some other power in a more convenient position) than have to open the power tray, scroll scroll scroll through a list of a zillion powers to try to find it, and then drag it into the slot where I need it. It's annoying enough that when you claim a power from email or craft a temp power recipe, the power doesn't get placed in your tray even if you have an empty slot for it
If I had more trays, that's what I'd use them for: moving my macros and lesser-used powers to a tray where it's out of the way but I can still locate it easily when I need it.
Honestly, I think you need to economize a bit. You've got multiple fly-based temp powers out. You have both versions of the market TP. You have the temp AND vet versions of the Blackwand and Nemesis Staff out.
You might be able to wring some extra space out of scripting macros to chain load for some tasks. And maybe a reduction in tray slots via the popmenu command. But roughly half those slots are for temp powers. Stuff that'll expire after a certain amount of use. Use one up, the mount another in until that one is used up, rinse and repeat.
Keeping everything you have out on a tray because you MIGHT use it at some nebulous point, ESPECIALLY when you have things that duplicate the functionality EXACTLY is ludicrous!
