Seems proliferation isn't as popular these days. New sets seem to be rolling in regularly. I bet after dark control/affinity/assault, staff fighting, and beast mastery roll in, we will be back in proliferation mode. I will probably re-roll my spines/fa scrapper that stalled at 38 (pre Burn fix) as a brute and enjoy some chaos. Bring it on!

I've been longing for spines brutes since i7.
Spines/Fire Brute would be pretty crazy 
I'm waiting for spines/ice. 3 taunt auras, two fury-boosted damage auras, and about 18908580 times more spikiness than any other powerset combo? Yes please. It's about the only thing that'd be tempting enough to me to make dealing with fury worth it.

I would love to reroll a spines/dark brute. . . But now. . . Hmmm, spines/ice. . . OH MY!
After taking a 6 week break to toil in a galaxy far far away, i have returned and been enjoy testing issue 22 on beta, tweaking builds on my TW/FA and StJ/EA, playing market games, and so on.
But where oh where is my spiney brute goodness. . . I was so hoping I would see him with issue 22 and his presence would force my Spines/Dark scrapper out of retirement to hunt down his resurrected brother. . .
So sad. . . Someone going to the pummit, please, please, please ask for proliferation of spines to my redside brothers and sisters!
