One thing to keep in mind is that some young children often play this game (Sister Flame). Sometimes on their parent's account. So I try to keep things in perspective and to stay civil too. "Try," of course, doesn't always work as it can be very frustrating playing with someone who seems to have no idea at all what they are doing. But it is something I try to think about, and not get too upset.

The closest I came to being negative was when I told the next DfB team leader about the door sitter. And when the door sitter got mad about not getting invited to the new team it was obvious from his responses he wasn't a little kid.

And I feel bad for them when it is obvious they are out of their league, playing higher level characters in zones/missions that demand more experience with the game than they clearly have. I feel bad because I want these young kids to have a good time and learn to love the game, but I don't have the patience to be their tutor. I will explain various subtle aspects of the game to newcomers who are missing a key concept or two here and there, but its not my job to teach remedial CoX. When I encounter players who are rude, obnoxious, inconsiderate (like door sitters), or simply in over their head, I'll usually just say "Thanks for the team!" and quietly leave for (hopefully) greener pastures.

Now I won't say it wasn't possible that the person on the vet account wasn't an actual vet player but I expect a certain basic level of game knowledge from a player when I see that many vet badges.
