Titan Weapons.. what is skippable ??
If by /EA you mean Energy Aura, then you don't need Defensive Sweep. You can stack the smashing def, but it leaves lethal open, and since /EA is typed, the melee def doesn't give you much. Titan sweep is a better choice, outside of that take everything else imo.
If you mean Electric Armor and you're going for a m/r/a def build, then keep DS and drop TS.
imo and all that.
On my TW/Elec, I skipped Defensive Sweep.
I've messed around with a few builds in mids too for a TW/Fire and TW/WP brutes and I've skipped Defensive Sweep on those too.
The damage of the attack is lackluster, and you can compensate for the defense you'd lose from not taking fairly easily.
All 3 builds that I've done are soft capped to S/L w/o using Defensive Sweep (and not use a Glad Armor +3% either).

I went TW/WP and while I removed defensive sweep from my tray once I got arc of destruction slotted, I kept it with five slots in it for four eradications and a lotg global. Beyond the set bonuses, when exemplaring to 25 and under this means that I still have something resembling an attack chain. It also means I'm not skipping a single power in the set, but whatryagonnado, right?
With TW, I'd say most builds can definitely skip Crushing Blow or Defensive Sweep - having both is unnecessary. (Not useless, but unnecessary.)
If you must skip a second attack, you can also get by without Titan Sweep.
Rend Armor, Follow Through, Whirling Smash, and Arc of Destruction are NOT skippable.
Personally I like the two early AOE powers (defensive sweep and Titan Sweep) for turning on Momentum. AOEs though slightly slower to animate are better then single target attacks for this as the AOEs get multiple to hit rolls and only need one of them to hit to turn on momentum.
So my advice would be to skip the single target attacks as needed and keep the AOEs.
The problem with skipping any of the single target attacks is that in a single target situation you'll pay nearly twice as much endurance for the same damage level by using the aoes. Some secondaries may be able to get away with that but I can assure you that willpower cannot even with both recovery uniques. The problem with skipping titan sweep is that you're giving up a giant scale 1.5 cone that can animate in one second. That's nearly as good as dual blades' sweeping strike, a phenomenal attack.
If you had to skip something, surely defensive sweep is the obvious pick, but even it is by most standards a great attack. Against one target it's below par for tier 1s, but if you hit two targets with it it's suddenly one of the best melee tier 1s available, and it goes all the way up to five. As Flower said it also makes it ridiculously easy to get momentum, and oh right, it grants a ton of defense.
The only problem with titan weapons is that it's so stupidly good that we don't know how to react to it.
Yeah, personally I kept them all. To much utility in them to skip anything.
Defensive Sweep does great damage (if you hit mutiple targets as PleaseRecycle said), gives defense (smashing/melee) and is great for turning on momentum.
Crushing Blow is an OK single target attack and a great place to put a Achilles' Heel 20% resistance debuff proc. I throw it out a lot on bosses and other hard targets.
Titan Sweep is a very nice AOE and is my follow up to Whirling Smash and Arc of Destruction when fighting large groups
Follow Through does nice damage but requires momentum to use and thus is probably the most skippable one but I still keep it, slotted it with Kinetic Combat and use it a fair amount on bosses and other hard targets.
Rend Armor don't even consider skipping. In addition to having good damage this carries a resistance debuff and can also can carry a Achilles' Heel proc if you choose.
Whirling Smash is another mainstay. 360 15 foot AOE with 10 target cap. It cleans out groups fast when combined with the other AOEs
Arc of Destruction is the best power in the set. Damage that is great for single target attacks in an AOE power. Sure it only hits 5 but it can one shot most minions not resistant to smashing damage.
Edit: Forgot the other two Don't skip Build Momentum. I skip Build Up powers occassionaly in scrapper/brutes but this one is vital to Titan Weapons since momentum is so important to it. Taunt can be skipped (especially in scrappers) depending on the build you are going for.
Defensive Sweep or Crushing Blow, pick one.
Titan's Sweep I only missed at the early levels and when exempt down at the early levels. Even more so on a Tanker.
For me, that's about all I could see skipping, but plenty of people who wouldn't want to skip any of the AOEs.
TW is one of those sets where you'll likely have to make tough choices on power picks.

I am making a TW/EA brute and have never tried the Titan Weapons set. What powers are skippable in the set. I dont want to skip taunt, but I dont know the must have powers in the set. I want the defensive sweep and the AoE but dont know about any of the other powers..
Thanks in advance..
The hard things I can do--- The impossible just take a little bit longer.
