So what buffs did Kheldians get?

I haven't played mine (PB at 31, WS at 39) since like Issue 8 or 9... (Although I think it was pre inventions).

What buffs have they gotten since then? I have tried searching the Wiki but to no avail with the exception of:

The inherent now works in the forms

Auto Powers now work in the forms. (This one confuses me, I see the Fitness powers work but the initial auto power you get from the secondary does not, so was this stated incorrectly in the wiki?)

What other major changes were made? I always had a cool concept for my two and been thinking about playing them some but I would have to respec them and change them around since its been so long.

* Dwarf can be shifted into while mezzed
* The ranged attacks are now 80 feet like normal ranged sets
* Toggles don't suppress while mezzed anymore, so your shields don't shut off
* Light Form was tweaked and is now perma-able resistance and mez protection
* Photon Seekers have a larger blast radius, but less damage
* The bonus damage from the Quantum Array Gun is now Negative Energy and resistible

Peacebringers
Combat Flight now correctly provides defense to all types of attacks.
Luminous Blast
Build Up has been renamed "Inner Light". It now grants a large damage and ToHit bonus for 10 seconds, and then a moderate damage and ToHit bonus for 20 seconds thereafter, for a total of 30 seconds of boosted damage.
Photon Seekers cooldown has been reduced from 300 seconds to 180 seconds.
Luminous Aura : Quantum Acceleration
Added a new power available at level 24: Quantum Acceleration.
Quantum Acceleration is similar to Afterburner.
This allows Peacebringers to select this power if they wish.
This power now provides a moderate amount of defense, improved flight control, and -fly protection, but has a 30 second cooldown once toggled off. This power can now accept Defense enhancements, IOs and Defense set IOs.
This power will no longer allow the user to fly unless the user has a flight power active.
This power's long help now clarifies that this power's flight protection is only granted while Combat Flight, Energy Flight, Quantum Flight or Group Energy Flight is active.
Light Form has been redesigned. Its cooldown has been lowered from 1000 seconds to 300 seconds, but its duration has been reduced to 90 seconds to match that of Eclipse. The recovery bonus from the power and the status protection from the power have been moderately reduced to compensate for the drastic increase in uptime now possible. Additionally, Light Form now persists when activating White Dwarf or Bright Nova.
White Dwarf now protects you from status effects as soon as its animation begins, preventing the power from being interrupted.
Solar Flare and White Dwarf Flare are now generated by the Peacebringer's hands instead of their feet, and can now be used while in midair.

Warshades
Umbral Aura : Shadow Slip
Added a new power available at level 24: Shadow Slip
Shadow Slip is similar to Long Range Teleportation.
This allows Warshades to select this power if they wish.
Decreased this power's interrupt time from 13 seconds to 10 seconds and decreased its recharge from 450 seconds to 300 seconds.
Black Dwarf now protects you from status effects as soon as its animation begins, preventing the power from being interrupted.
Shadow Cloak - This power has been updated to reflect changes to power pool Stealth that have occurred since it was made. It now provides defense to all types of damage, rather than just positional defense, and half of the defense bonus now suppresses while in combat.


The development team and this community deserved better than this from NC Soft. Best wishes on your search.

Interesting, what was the range prior?

Also what is with the auto powers? I notice that fitness works in the forms but the auto resist power does not?

As you can see in screenshot 1 I have the auto power "Incandesence" but when I transform I lose it in screenshot 2.

Oh I thought you meant the inherent when you said "the auto power." Meh, that power provides a very insignificant amount of resistance that neither of my Kheldians have any use for anyways so I guess I just never noticed.

Unrelated: Turn off your pop help, you're giving me an "oh god I just made a new character and now there's tuns of crap I have to do" anxiety attack! I didn't want to experience that again until I get to make a Dark/Dark Dominator.

Yeah, Incandescence and Absorption don't work in forms. As for why, not sure. Probably a balance issue since both forms come with their own inherent Energy and Negative Energy Resistance.

It's funny that in *that* sense, they acknowledge that Kheldians don't need any more resistance.. And yet now they're releasing the AT specific Kheldian set, where the unique grants resistance to Human Form and 2 of the set bonuses are resistance bonuses. I mean, hello. This is a purple set. Anyone who can afford to purple their Kheldian (and very many who can't) doesn't need any more resistance. Our AT set is a waste and an abomination. </rabble>

I was under the impression it increased the Dwarf resistance and the damage of Nova. I didn't know it affected human form at all, which I can't say I agree with at all. I can see the reasoning for giving Dwarf more resistance since as it is now Dwarf provides nothing mechanically beyond being a set mule and mez protection if you don't/won't have Clarion. At least with more resistance it could stand on its own to give a WS capped resistance against a single target or give a PB capped resistance when the crash from Light Form might be too risky. I'm not sure when that might be mind you, just saying that it is a valid condition that could theoretically arise.

True enough I suppose.

I'm not sure why the Devs are focusing a lot of effort toward PB changes on making the AT more survivable. In all the time I've been playing I can't think of very many instances where people complained of feeling too squishy. Far as I can remember, the gripe's always been about subpar damage and/or not doing anything "well" (Read: Better than any other AT).
