Questions about VIP/Whatever

Ok I have a few questions...

Does adding a Going Rogue serial to my account give me 1 month of VIP?

What game editions offer 1 month of VIP? Do the original COH/COV games offer 1 month of VIP now that the game is f2p?

Can I apply the same game editions repeatedly if they are different serials and still get VIP time?

Edit: Oh on a side note. NCSoft really needs to rethink some of the crap they are doing. When I ask support a question because I'm interested in making a purchase and I get the response, "We only respond to VIP players."...

1. Yes, it should.
2. I'd expect any edition should if it was sold with game time - so COH/COV, GR, Mac edition, Good vs Evil, etc.
3. No, you cannot use multiples of the same edition.


Wanted: Origin centric story arcs.
If you've only played an AT once (one set combo) and "hate" it - don't give up. Roll a different combo. It may just be those sets not clicking for you.

I'm sorry you weren't able to get a property response from support. It was my understanding that there are levels of support that do assist premium and free players, but I don't know enough to direct you to them, perhaps someone else can help there.

However, I don't know what the NCSoft support staff's sexual orientation has to do with anything.

Yes, any box edition should add one month of VIP time, but only once for each edition.

The in-game-store item, Going Rogue, that you purchase with Paragon Points, does NOT add any VIP time. Just to be clear.

Bummer about the support thing, but yes that's the way it works. F2P is definitely self-help; i.e., you got to come here and bug us about it.

Alright thanks for the information. I have one more question though...

Are we still able to refer a friend? It would appear that option may only be available if currently subscribing...am I wrong? I was just looking for the button on my account and couldn't find it anywhere.

Was that in-game support or via the website support?

And as long as the code adds something o your account other than time, it will work. So if you add a CoH or CoV CE, then try to add a normal CoH or CoV code, it won't work.

Well it was an in game petition...but it was for general help I think and was answered through email. I don't understand why customer support wouldn't want to support customers...

...I could understand if it was a random free player question I guess. But I asked something that was directly about making a purchase...not to mention I've been p2p for 4 years so I don't really think that's a nice way to come back to the game.

Premium players can get support through email (support@ncsoft.com) and through Ask A Question. Only if you INITIATE the support request through email/AAQ will they assist. They do not get support through in-game GMs.
