"Add Player to Focus Group"

Can anyone explain this command? I've never seen it before, have no idea what it might do, and can't find a description of it on the Wiki...

FUN FACT: That burst of light when you level up is actually the effectiveness escaping from your enhancements all at once.

My guess? The Devs done goofed.

This feature is for league play only. Imagine you're an empathy defender and are struggling to keep alive the squishies of not only one but two or three teams. By adding the players you're keeping an eye upon to your focus group, you can see all of them in a single "team" list, which makes it much easier to monitor their health stats and to target them with your heals.

Actually, that's a really nice feature, even if the name is a little confusing. I read "focus group" and immediately thought of a person with a clipboard asking what I liked and didn't like about the product I'd just seen (Steve was delicious, by the way). I kind of figured it might be a dev/GM tool that had shown up on my account by mistake, so I didn't mess with it.

Huh. I did not know about that feature. Handy, I guess.

Now that I see it explained, I remember reading about that feature in a patch notes someplace. I just never knew how to do it, nor really had the need. Now that my defender is 50, I might want to use it though. I'm glad you asked the question Dr. R.

Yep I'll agree it's a nice feature with a misleading name.

It made its debut with I20 (although the name appears to have been changed or not implemented exactly as detailed in the patch notes):

League

There is a Focus tab within the UI as well This is used for setting League members as a Focus.

Right Click any member of the league and select "Place on Focus Tab"
The Focus tab contains ONLY characters you have put there.
This is useful for having a quick way to monitor specific characters' health or targeting.

Well, while your defender is trying to keep the squishies alive, he can ask them for some feedback on the trial they're running.
