Steampunk Pack

I was going to create a new character and was looking through the types and thought the steampunk looked cool so I just bought the steampunk bundle.

Now when I select "steampunk" I get something that doesn't even remotely look like a steampunk, it looks like a regular armored.

Any ideas what's up with that?

The Paragonwiki entry for the Steampunk Pack sums most of it up. Paragonwiki usually has all the info about these things so I don't know why the authors of this particular wiki page didn't include the male costume items but there's plenty of those in the game too.

Hope that clears it up.

There's a very old armor set called Steampunk -- that's separate from the costume items in the steampunk pack.

The old steampunk armor has existed for years, available to all in the game. This armor is a good variation, and though it has an "old timey" feel I never quite understood the Steampunk name. i use it a lot. The Steampunk pack takes advantage of the recent popularity of the genre and revolves more around non armored/non-robotic 19th century human/meta-human adventurers.

Select "Victorian" instead.

I thought the pack option was labeled "Classic Steampunk" in the costume editor.

The steampunk pack has "classic" and "victorian" clothes. And of course you can mix and match.

It's a shame there's no way to choose other hair styles for the goggle hat, but that pretty much goes for every hat in the game (only one hair style with a hat).

Also, steampunk mad science.

I think both are used to describe the pack.
