making a crab...

I've come to realize that there is really no AT that I feel like making a new toon with...except an SoA. I've never played one, and I'd really love to try the crab playstyle.

The problem is that I really hate the low levels in Rogue Isles. When I try making an SoA, I don't get an option on where to start...it just puts me in Rogue Isles. Is there any way around this? I assume not, but figured I'd ask. It just sucks that this one thing keeps me from playing what seems to be one of the best AT's available in the game.

wait till 20 and switch or I also heard they are gonna be selling alignment change tokens not sure when those get released. Probably with i22 or something.

Yeah, it's getting to 20 that's the problem for me. Guess I'll try it anyway. I always hated vil side because right off the bat you have to go on 2 mile hikes to get to every single mission...but I think they may have improved that at some point.

Yeah, Epic archtypes don't get to choose where they start. Soldiers of Arachnos will always be in the Rogue Isles, just likeKheldians will always start in paragon.

And you can always run DFB to power level and skip up through a lot of the low level content.

Also keep in mind, VEATs (And HEATs for that matter) get special contacts and mission arcs within each 5 level bracket. it's not really enough to get you -through- the level brackets on standard difficulty, but it's something new to try.

Speaking of VEAT contacts, they get a free costume slot at level 10, so you're not stuck with that Arachnos uniform forever.

Damn I totally forgot about that! That will definitely help skip the early stuff, thanks.

Just run 5-6 sewer trials and you're there.

EDIT: NM, seems that was covered.

I have been away from game a bit ... I am wondering how exactly @ level 20 one can jump sides?

tips, info, links to said info would be appreciated.

http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Alignment

Simplified:

kill level 20+ mobs, "tips" randomly drop
need 10 tip missions completed to get a morality mission(max of 5 tips a day)
completely morality mission to swap from villain to rogue
repeat, except swap rogue to Hero

I'd still read the wiki, has good stuff. Like how you lose all villain/hero alignment merits when swapping.

Good looking out and tyvm. I had tried the wiki before hand, as well as a few other option and failed lol. "Alignment" was the key phrase I was lacking.

Greatly appreciate the help.
