Auction house and account inactivity (item deletion)

Before Freedom was released, if you stopped subscribing for 60 days, all your auctions at the auction house were deleted.

What's the state of this rule with the new Premium System ?

If I'm Premium and I had an auction for 60 days, is it deleted ? I'm asking this because I'm thinking of going Premium, and I have a lot of stuff stored on the auction house that I don't want to lose, and with no other way than keeping it there.

All you should have to do is log in on the characters that have items in the AH before the 60 days is up. That resets the timer.

I have items that have been sitting untouched on my Premium account that are still there just from logging in.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

That's how they said it was supposed to work. Very few people could remember having anything actually deleted on them when the Market forum was discussing it, including people (like myself) who had second accounts that had been inactive for far more than 60 days, sometimes even a year or more.

If you're actively playing (even if you don't log all your characters in regularly), I doubt you'll ever notice anything get deleted.

For the record, I've been Premium since a couple weeks after Freedom's release. I haven't had anything deleted yet.

Logging in the character doesn't matter, it's the account that matters.

And even then, now that it's free-to-play, I doubt that even matters either.

I wasn't certain if the account was what mattered or the character itself.

Since I get the message that I have 3 sold items when I log in one character on my Premium account, I knew that it was at least valid for the character.

The "60 day rule" was rescinded back in Issue 14, April 2009.

From Paragon Wiki: "Previously, at the time of server maintenance, any characters not logged in for 60 days would have their consignment items deleted. With the release of Issue 14 (April 07, 2009), this is no longer true." http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Consignment_House

From the Patch Notes archive: "Characters (on active accounts) who have inventories, bids or items for sale in the Black Market or in Wentworth's Consignment House will no longer have to log into the game within 60 days to avoid item or influence/infamy expiration.

"In-game Black Market and Wentworth employees will still give their friendly reminder, however if your account is "active", they won't take your "stuff"."

Have there been any announcements anywhere saying they've reinstated the 60 day rule?

Based on what happened with my old US account when I reactivated it, having not played it for about a year, the items I had in auction slots were still present as stored although the auction itself was cancelled. I'm sure I had some things up for sale as well as any buy requests.

Just as a note, if this period was during the merger of the blue and redside markets, all transactions got cancelled and refunded, etc. when that happened.

Nope since then - this is the past year - I'd played it during the reactivation period last year but not since until just before Freedom launched
