Watched the UStream to see the Staff Fighting animations.
Honestly, I wish they had been less flashy.
They mentioned how real staff fighting tends to be very utilitarian and more basic, and I can understand them not wanting to go with that, because they didn't want the set to look boring.
But couldn't there have been a more Middle-Ground approach?
(Basically exactly the same complaint I have about Dual Pistols. It's so flashy as to be cheesy looking.)

hmm thats a shame, i like those animations, nothing too drastic i hope.
The tier 9 is a twirling breakdance of doom... and the PBAoE attack got a few more twirls.
The rest of the attacks seem to keep the same animations more or less.

I just watched the staff fighting animation video part of the ustream (cause, really that's all I want at the moment
The animations are....awesome....
I think the best part about StJ is the mob's reaction to the powers (at least certain ones; like Spinning Strike)...and I see that is there with that staff to the feet attack
Can't wait to buy this set!
