IT'S SNOWING!! (Kind of...)

It's a cheat, like pretty much everything they have to do with the game engine. It appears that the snow is a pet buff effect dropped on you, which is why you'll never see that effect on a whole zone.
It's really cool, though, and probably a preview of the sorts of weather effects we'll be getting.
There's an Ally PBAoE power called Instant Snowstorm you can use to create the weather effect available for the event.
61866 - A Series of Unfortunate Kidnappings - More than a coincidence?
2260 - The Burning of Hearts - A green-eyed monster holds the match.
379248 - The Spider Without Fangs - NEW - Some lessons learned (more or less.)
Huh. Make it so that you can't cast the snow-flurries if you are already within it? And one super-cedes the other (Older cancels the newer one?)

I'm slightly disappointed in the Instant Snowstorm power only in that it has just 1 charge. Even if it is a "cheat" I love the snowing effect, and I'm very much hoping for a permanent (as in unlimited charges) version of this power to come with whatever winter holiday packstravaganza they have in store for the market.
Just hopped into Brickstown and literally jumped around the corner off the train headed toward my mission and stopped to talk to my son behind me at the keyboard for a moment, while in the middle of our conversation he stopped.
It was snowing in Brickstown!
Well it was snowing around the Winter Lord I hadn't seen, that was on the other side of the brick wall I was standing next to.
My first reaction was childlike glee at seeing snow fall in Paragon. After I moved away from the Winter Lord it stopped, to my dismay.
Is there any way to make it look like that in the whole zone a Winter Lord is in, or just make it snow in general? Looks like it's just a filter of some kind since zooming in/out doesn't change the size or location of the snowflakes. Even if it were available as an optional setting due to possible drag on lower end systems, I would use it in a heartbeat.
