D'oh! I missed them, too
Goodbye, I guess.

Eureka was very silly as the town went from reality, to CGI, to 60's style cartoon, to claymation ...
Warehouse 13 was their take of "It's a Wonderful Life" since that's what the artifact happen to be related to.
Haven, not as fun loving as Eureka and Warehouse but Haven isn't that kind of show.
All of these episodes, like last year's Christmas specials, are very much standalone relative to the season ending/mid-season cliff hangers.

Myka is just so adorkable. Whereas Zooey DeVapidExpression tries for adorkable, Myka just is. Love how the Warehouse is one of those places that can conceivably have everything.
Haven was a neat episode. Finding the words to describe that show is hard, but IMO, it just works. I like it.
Stand alones are fine. Just a little tidbit. Though the fact that Eureka is ending after this season makes me a sad panda.
The Warehouse 13 episode was written by JP Nickel who writes for Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal Theater. Caution: A lot of NSFW skits.
But I like very silly, it was a compliment. The quick switch to Charlie Brown style, to Simpsons/Futurama style, to South Park style, to Scooby-Doo style had me on the floor.
The anime-ish style at the end was only redeemable due to Fargo being turned into a kick-pancake.

Loved both of them but I'd have to say that the Christmas episode is now my favorite Eureka episode of all.
Don't count your weasels before they pop dink!

Now we aren't ready quite yet to let the catgirls out of the bag.... (quote from ex libris)
They were on tonight... >.<
I missed both showings of the Eureka one, but it's on again on Friday I believe.
Warehouse 13 is interesting. Very much It's A Wonderful Life vibe from it.
