Well, to answer this the other way, I think that the /Elec would work better on the Brute, since damage auras play nicely with Fury. So I'd make the /EA the Scrapper.

Plus Brute /Elec has a taunt aura and if you're into godmodes (I like them), Power Surge is much better on a Brute.
I agree with Aett_Thorn.
Also, since Elec is resistance based and brutes can reach a higher level resistance is another reason to go brute with Elec.
I plan to make an Elec/TW Tank, but I have to concur with everyone else that Elec would be better on the Brute.

Echoing what others have said, /elec works better for Brutes because...
- Higher resistance cap that'll get you 90% energy resist
- A fury boosted damage aura with a built-in taunt effect
Either set is fine on either AT, but Brutes pull ahead slightly with /elec.

hey folks...
Soon as these servers come back up, I'm making 2 TW characters. One will be a scrapper, the other a brute. One will be /EA, the other /Elec. Which do you think would work better on the scrapper in general (tw/ea or tw/ele)?
