I thought this would be the visual representation of what people wanted the TF/ST/Trials to be ... something that shows active ones, spots available, and the ability to join them. I guess I was wrong. WOW ... feedback would still be nice. find out what the thoughts are for changes.
It's defiantly a different way to form sf's/tf's ... tbh i kind of like it, adds more to the LFG ability and helps form pug groups...tho i dont want to see MO runs on there tho.
This would also apply to Trials ... you'd "begin forming" and anyone who was looking for a trail ... would just choose to join. It would save so much time and typing.

I would like to add that making the LFG queue function cross server, like the auction house does, would vastly increase the opportunities for teaming.

Yeah a "forming team" option would be nice. One thing I would suggest with such a feature is a "comments" section where you can put things like "speed run" or "not speed run" to help people find groups that suit their playstyle.
As long as they leave the OLD way of forming in sure. This should be in addition, not in replacement of.

Sounds like a great idea for people without access to global channels and broadcast like F2P users. I would even use it myself when I just feel like playing with random people.

Of course you could get your (5) friends on team first (whether you spam your existing channel or always play with them) then begin forming for the other (3). It would also show that you have (5/8) not 1/8 in the LFG window as well. Also, no reason you can't spam "Forming (posi 1) check your LFG TF/SF tab to join."
I can see the advantages to have'ing this type of system. I'd be happy to see it emplomented. So ya cool idea Twigman.
The cross server added idea would be interesting also as it might pull some away from the big Freedom server.
