Since Sho hadn't started one yet I might as well.

First, no Batman or Ben 10 this week, just a double dose of the new Green Lantern series plus sneaks of CN's "DC Nation".

Generator Rex - picks up from last week after Rex's six month time skip. Interesting episode that actually moved the plot forward for once.

Young Justice - Can't say enough good things about this series. Set right after last week's training debacle it deals with each of the team getting counseling from Black Canary (when did she get a degree?). Not only we get to find out about some inner secrets of the team, we also finally get a little movement with to sphere's story line with the appearance of the New Gods.

Green Lantern: The Animated Series - It was an okay premiere. The hybrid Timm style meets Clone Wars CGI may take a bit of getting use to. Story wise we'll see how it goes. Hal and Kilowog Vs the Red Lantern core out in frontier space.

Didn't see Clone Wars or Thundercats yet.

As for the new "DC Nation" block. It seems to be a way for CN to rerun episodes from all the old DC series from the past as well as include some new shorts and shows (I hear the live action Blue Beatle will end up here). They only showed a few shorts last night including what I'm guessing is an Aardman made piece with little British kids voices used to guide the animation of Batman, Robin, Catwoman, Superman and the Joker. It was cute. The other short was a SD Teen Titan piece.

thanks for kicking this off.

All around good eps on CN - digging the GL: TAS
YJ put boot to backside
Generator Rex - liking the new story so far.
Clone Wars... I hate to say this, I hope that of all the Jedi that faced the Imperial Purge, I SERIOUSLY hope Vader and the 501st assisted with him meeting his end PERSONALLY ... omg..
Thundercats... seriously EVERY DAMN EP oF THIS SHOW IS AWESOME....

One more thing, curious to see how they are going to overlap the two Man of Action series, Ben 10 and Generator Rex for the special in two weeks. I'm guessing alternate universe hopping by Ben.

Loved seeng the New Gods on YJ. It's great how they keep bringing in obscure but awesome characters.

Don't count your weasels before they pop dink!

Young Justice - Decent action story--I enjoyed their take on the Forever People and squeed a bit at the Mazinger Z homage--interspersed with some fantastic character development through Black Canary's counseling sessions. Also loved the hints that were dropped in, especially, "Oh. You mean I'm Caucasian."

Green Lantern - Only one complaint: WHY ARE WE NOT GETTING A NEW EPISODE NEXT WEEK!? I mean I'm still not crazy about the animation style, but much like Batman: TAS the storytelling was so good I forgot that that the animation was subpar.

Loved the characterization of Hal Jordan as the cocky pilot who breaks all the rules for all the right reasons.

Loved having the Red Lanterns as the main villains, and the hints that while they may be dangerous fanatics, it seems they have a good reason to hate the Guardians.

Loved the Bruce Timm touch of creating original characters (Aya, Razer, Shyir Rev) that are such great characters that they seem bound to find their way into the comics eventually.

I even, um, got something in my eye at the end. Fantastic start to what looks like will be an awesome series.

Thundercats - As ShoNuff pointed out...Dang! Does this series ever take an episode off? Even when the Cats are taking these episodic bunny trails away from the main plot, it's still awesome. Best animated series on television, and given that there's a number of really good ones right now that's saying quite a lot.

Hey all, just wanted to chime in...

YJ - Was ladled in awesomesauce. Boom tube! Whiz Wagon!! Forever People!!!

TARUUUUUUU!!! Aw yeah, beeshes.

GL - The WORST thing I can say is that I found the animation a little uneven. Other than that, I think the show was kinda frackin' perfect. Character was good, plot was good, deux ex machina of "Aiya" (and her damage) was good.

TC - Not watched yet, but like all of you every episode has been REALLY good, so I'm not worried.

And yes, I too am looking forward to the Generator Rex/Ben 10 crossover...though I've not bothered to watch "Rex" before.

Oh and one final thing. "DC Nation"? Great...why weren't they doing this YEARS AGO? Seriously, this kind of marketing should have been done around the time DiDio took over DC about 5 years ago. Better late than never, I guess.

The one thing that bothered me with GL is the GL: Voyager plot device. Don't mind that Hal isn't going back to Earth anytime soon but sticking them 18 months away from backup other than the few Frontier GLs is more than slightly annoying.

Dig the ship. So how soon will it project a humanoid avatar of itself? Something curvy I'm betting.
