Heh, I absolutely despise the sounds for glinting/ebon eye. It cuts right through me... That's about it though.
I love my pb but the sfx makes me want to drill my head against the desk.
PBs sound like "FREEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeemmmmm!"
Or, at least, that's what they sound like to me ...

What about tri-forms do they still go Womp all the time?
Those sound effects are one of the things I really love about my Peacebringers. 'Pretty fond of the visual effects, too.

I could see how it would sound off if your speakers are bad or something, though.Warshades freak me out some time and make me think a Nictus or Quantum Gunner is around. And by freak out, I mean "makes me want to find the bugger to pound his face in."

LOL. I had the volume pumped up again today but while doing the ToT in PI. Loved being able to just cycle through the big booms and feel a bit of shake from the subwoofer immediately followed by the fweeeeeeem!
In the old days there was a 'tweak' where you could remove that FWEEEEEEEEEEEM.
simple stated: I FREAKING HATE THAT SOUND.
Just after 2 days i go so sick and tired of that freaking FWEEEEEEEEEM sound, i went back to my Shade.
Is there still a 'legal' way to fix this? (old one was i believe digging in some digg file).

I know that they have been a bit annoying to some and on the system I used to run CoH on they were... well, kinda "tinny". Last night I finished building my new desktop gaming system (first time in 7 years) and I picked up some cheap Creative speakers (A220) that include a sub-woofer. I pumped up the sound and headed in to CoH to see what damage I could do.
Picked up on a BAF and wow! Love the sounds and they ring so clear across the speakers. I have indeed fallen back in love with the FWEEEM!
