He's free to do what he wants and must be well-compensated for doing the voice, but it's his prerogative to give it up. Just as long as he understands that the role doesn't die with his departure.

... He's probably tired of making appearances at comic conventions.

The two to three appearances, tops, he makes every year?

[sarcasm]Yeah, it must be exhausting to sign for fans for an hour or three a couple times a year. And I'm sure the $30k-$50k he gets to do it each time doesn't make it at all worthwhile.[/sarcasm]

Honestly though, what do I know? It takes me an entire year to make what he pulls down in 2-3 convention appearances, so of course I'm not sympathetic. If he doesn't enjoy and doesn't need the money, then he should give it up.

Ya, you know how that "no more Joker" thing was said?

Not so much. Just the matter of the right project, namely The Killing Joke...and potentially sequels to B:AC.

I'm sure I'll get over it, but it was kind of jarring in that first scene with Harley.
I thought it was fine through the first half of the game, but it really got to me the deeper into it I got, especially during the finale.

I consider it good news. I guess he saw how well the game was received and thought maybe he spoke too soon. Too bad they (I tried to do spoiler-text, didn't work)... Well, you know.

That's probably my favorite Muppet Show clip that didn't involve Statler & Waldorf.

Arc# 92382 -- "The S.P.I.D.E.R. and the Tyrant" -- Ninjas! Robots! Praetorians! It's totally epic! Play it now!

Arc # 316340 -- "Husk" -- Azuria loses something, a young woman harbors a dark secret, and the fate of the world is in your hands.

At least, I hope so. He is Joker for me now, just like I cringed when I heard the voice from Batman: Year One, because it wasn't Kevin Conroy.

Agreed; "growing up" on Batman: TAS...Mark Hamill = Joker...no ifs, ands or buts about it!

I don't know the actor's name for the voice of Bruce Wayne/Batman from that series but...yeah...again, what I picture/hear when I think of Batman.

Kevin Conroy.

'I don't like the look of it at all,' said the King: 'however, it may kiss my hand if it likes.'
'I'd rather not,' the Cat remarked.
'Don't be impertinent,' said the King, 'and don't look at me like that!' He got behind Alice as he spoke.
'A cat may look at a king,' said Alice.
