Super Good Costume/Power Idea!

I have a very good idea for either a power or costume. POWER SUITS! I came up with this after looking at the Noise Tanks and Scorpion. We really need a power suit class and/or costume set! Lots of possibilities and the "power suits" we have now are pathetic and little tiny ones, too light. We need the customization for them so we can make them look like Noise Tanks, Reapers, or somewhat, like Scorpion! I hope Cryptic reads this

It won't do any good at all if Cryptic sees this, they have nothing to do with the game anymore.

And I'm not exactly sure what you're asking for. Reapers? Scorpion?

Anyway, take a look over in the Screenshots & Fan Creations section, you can find some really good looking power suits made by players with what is currently available in the game.

Two things:

1. There's already a "huge" body type and the option to put armor on it.
2. Cryptic won't be reading this; they haven't handled CoH in years. They produced a direct competitor to it, even. Paragon Studios and NCSoft are in charge directly now.

This has been suggested a few time and I for one would love to see some more (Power) Armor pieces.

I even came up with a Power Armor power set but side tracked myself a bit and did it wrong (was based on a slight tweak of Shield Defence but with less overall Def and some utility powers).
But to be honest (as was pointed out to me) Id simply made a Shield Defence-Energy Armor combo set (with some new stuff) and added Heavy Armor/Power Armor costime pieces.

I want to see some massive Armor costumes. Like 40K stuff. Even huge Medieval Full Plate without the arrow pointing at my crotch ('yes I know what that is thanks').

Id rather see a power armor powerset someday personally. You can already make armored looking characters. All we need now is shoulder, and chest cannons. We've already got the IDF and those giant shoulder missile launchers they use, chest beams from the clockwork and shoulder cannons from the clockwork.

They gave us beam rifle and that was a very much requested item for years so perhaps this is next.

The new IDF is cool and Im planning on spending some time working on the biggest armour costume I can.

Although using a HUGE body type with makes me laugh when jumping - you look like a plush toy with suction cups stuck on a window.

Not against the idea but I can already see the whining when some players realize that they can't make other costumes for those characters because the powers that are linked to the power armor pieces can't be turned off and ruin how all their alternate costume look.

Yes I'm talking about the Crab Spider arms that never go away.

Have you seen the power armor animations for CO (yes I'm mentioning another product, deal with it)? You can pick any costume piece you like and the animations still look fine.

It's possible!

And yes, PA is a pretty techy, sciency powerset, so people who want a mutant or magic character would be out of luck using it or have to get pretty creative explaining it, but we already have tech powers i.e. robots, devices, traps, Assault and Energy rifle, so it's not impossible.
