Fringe
Except only the bodies exploded. But still once they saw the tendrils take out the lights earlier you would think, unless the passage to the core couldn't fit a person in a hazard suit.

Yeah as soon as the cave was identified as being filled with fungus safety gear was required, and considering they knew it was killer fungus entering without hazmat gear was plain stupid. Unless Olivia was just being genre savy enough to realise that as a main character she is unlikely to get killed off
I felt sorry for the poor kid at the end though, you could see that he realised that he was getting kicked to the curb now that he was no longer relevant to the group.
The episode was good, the season is okay so far even if they are rushing the crap out of the peter storyline.
I was however disappointed that the last episode did not involve a Giant Fungus Monster rampaging through downtown Boston though.
The other classic trope would be that the giant fungus brain realized it was taking the boy with it and choose to break the connection itself. Very King Kong ending.
Well I think the boy will be back, used as a stabilizing force for Walter until Peter comes back. If not actually in the episode it will be mentioned by the other characters.

I've been watching Fringe. I'm digging the new season so far. Love finding the small details in this timeline that changed while Peter was gone.
Also, I really want to see more cross dimensional politics. I love the whole 'I don't trust you, you don't trust me but we gotta work together' aspect of it all.

Is it wrong that I want to see the Olivias settle their differences with a no holds barred jello fight?
The universe in which fringe takes place, is a cruel cruel place.
Not only did Peter get excised from time, when he comes back he lost his Pants, what Cruel god takes a man's PANTS!

It all makes sense now! His pantslessness has caused him to fracture reality in his quest for leg coverings!
So now we have Peter back in a world(s) where he died as a child but having the memories of how things were.
And here I thought the universe only had a grudge with Jack and Allison's relationship.

good episode and now have to wait 2 weeks to see the next one...blech!
Anyone watching the new season of Fringe?
I love this series but seriously folks, anyone that walked into that cave of spore-exploding-killer-molds not wearing a hazard suit deserved to die.
Did they forget they had them? Or just decide that because they were going deeper into the more heavily infested areas to hand deliver a poisonous toxin to the core they didn't need them?
This is a song about a super hero named Tony. Its called Tony's theme.
