20% Chance to Stealth

Is this IO confirmed or just a rumor?

Chance of stealth or chance of "Hidden" status too? I want to assume the latter, since the former would be laughably useless.... but, I've been hurt before.

A 20% chance put a stalker back into hide would be a massive damage boost for stalkers. Even if they set it at a 10% proc rate, when coupled with a stalker's innate 10% it would be considerable.

Ah, but is that on every attack or just on the attack it's slotted into?

Currently just the attack it's slotted in.

Anyone know the name of the stalker set? It's one of the few I haven't seen linked yet (along with VEATs/HEATs).

Stalkers Guile & I think that the other one is called, Dominion of Arachnos.

Put it into divine avalance or gambler's cut on ninja blade. Those are worked into any sane attack chain very often and you basically already toss golden dragonfly right after anyhow = pure win right there.

In my case, smite for dark melee. Not nearly as cool, but still a powerful tool.

If it gives hidden, not stealth. If it's just stealth I imagine this will get about as much play as the kinetic combat proc. That is to say, when you want the cheapest part of the set to get a set bonus.

Thanks Robo_Knight, and yes I agree Gavin: chance of hidden status would rock, while chance of stealth would say to me "I guess the devs agree that this is suppost to be a hit and run AT...".

Except it doesn't even help hit-and-run either since dropping into stealth doesn't clear aggro.

And yet it still does more than the absolute amazement proc (still bugged and not firing after 2 years, but even if it did work, why debuff the attacks of a stunned enemy who can't attack?) or the chance for recharge debuff in that sleep set (let's see I'll slow his recharge and make sure he can't use any powers for 30 seconds until they are all recharged and the debuff has worn off. wOOt brilliant!)

I'm not sure what the devs think it is supposed to do, but the devs do have a history of coming up with useless procs.

I wonder if you can slot it in Assassin's Strike, and just restealth right back with out aggroing after you take someone out. I doubt it but that would be cool as hell.

That would be pretty awesome. I was thinking put it in a fast firing attack, but depends, there are some interesting choices.

I'm curious to see how it works.

Nope. Pretty sure you are visible just before Assassin Strike ends. Even if you weren't, Assassin Strike itself debuffs your stealth by 100% for 8 seconds following a strike. So this proc might put you in Hidden status for another critical after AS, but you won't be invisible.

All that aside, just attacking someone in the spawn is likely to alert others whether you can remain invisible or not.
