In 21 days it will be 6 years...
What do you expect, its villain side. It toke them 14 issues before the devs actually decided to fix the bug in the Ice Mistral SF. If you don't know about it either, just shows how much you play villain side.
Basically villain side is treated worse then red headed step children, only reason I've stayed this long is blind hope Matt Miller will pull a donut out of his mouth and see that CoV needs more love then what they already have.
No matter how many times, over the years, that we have petitioned it ingame, the mission never gets fixed.

Travel Powers have been ganked since Issue 4. Instead of actually returning them to the status that made them "super", an additional power was stapled onto each pool. Those who have played this game since 2004 haave found these "bonus" powers to be almost absurdly useless.
I sincerely wish you better luck in your request than I have had in mine.
The Devs and a few of their more vocal catspaws have, for all these years - and frequently - simply dismissed the issue with the now legendary brush-off by the now-long-gone CupppaJo's insulting statement that "it [travel power suppression] works the way the Devs want it to, and there are no plans to change it."
Never mind what the paying subscribers wanted, MANY of whom voted with their feet and left the game; as long as the Devs were happy, who cares about what the sheep wanted? It was only our money.
But hey, after 6 years, maybe someone will care enough to spend a couple of days' worth of coding to track down a bugged mission location people have been reporting for over half a DECADE.
It could happen...
HELP SAVE THIS GAME!
If we can save this game, I promise I will never complain about Travel Power Suppression again! You have my word on it!

pohsyb: so of all people you must be most excited about the veats
Arachnos Commander: actually, I am
pohsyb: I mean you kinda were one already anyways ^_^
Arachnos Commander:
I must apologise to you. I have been zooming in the map and locating it without the finder (and telling others how to find it) so it's my fault it hasn't come up as a problem, sorry.
I've got all checkboxes checked on the map and it's still not showing. The red active marker on my map says that the mission is located at the door behind the trainer. The only way I've gotten to the exact location of the mission is by using Mission Teleporter. Which using that showed the mission on the other side of the map, nowhere near any kind of mission marker.

Oh I thought you were talking about the 1 where finder points you to the building with 5 mission doors inside it but the map target is correct. Another that hasn't been fixed yet
Welcome to my world.

Also, your reference to "the paying subscribers" is quite arrogant. Do not presume to speak for all the subscribers.

Let me explain something. Every aspect of everything in existence has people who don't like it.

Of course, if this guy was so up-in-arms over the problem, he'd take his own message to heart and vote with his wallet.

Yep, I /bug every time I get it. I don't know why this particular one sticks around, but I've subconsciously learned to do the zooming in on the map trick. All the while doing mental gymnastics to see it as being directed to the wrong location and having to use detective work to find the right place.
MY FAREWELL GIFT
It is never truly gone, as long as there is someone left to remember.
6 Years since we've had that bugged Mercy Mission that does not show you the correct location on the map.
Incase any red names see this and finally look into it, the mission is "Steal research from Legacy Chain" given by Seer Marino.
For just about 6 years, the mission (and map) tells you that the mission is inside the building behind the trainer in Mercy. But it's not in there. Never was.
No matter how many times, over the years, that we have petitioned it ingame, the mission never gets fixed.
I hate to complain about anything as CoH is one of the best parts of my day, but having to run around and click on doors all over Mercy in the chance that you find the correct location... well, it's just insane that this bug has been around since CoV's launch.
Sure, I could just Auto-Complete the mission, but that doesn't fix anything.
