BACON CONTROL - an overdue powerset!

An interesting discussion on the Infinity Help channel today that showed a lot of (albeit silly) support for a BACON CONTROL powerset. Some of the suggestions indicated a combination of elements from ranged offense, special effects, crowd control and healing that might be suitable for Corruptors and the like (after all, to manipulate others with bacon is PURE EVIL).

Some examples:

Bacon Bolt - single target ranged
Bacon Beam - cone
Bacon Blast - ranged AoE
Bacon Aroma Manipulation (BAM!) - confusion and/or hold
Bacon Grease - area knockdown/slow
Greasefire - ignition of Bacon Grease into damage over time (DoT)
Bacon Rez - just wave a strip under a downed ally's nose...
Hickory Smoke - ranged obscuration and/or hold (choking)

You get the idea...but can you imagine the accompanying costume parts? *shudder*

On second thought, BAM should allow a toon to target an enemy and take TOTAL CONTROL; even better than Confuse, it turns the enemy into a temporary PET whose actions the player can control more precisely. It is, after all, the POWER of Bacon.

Could you imagine if the set had a taunt power?

"You wave a slice of delicious bacon at your opponent, grabbing their attention for a moment"

Of course, it would have to be mag 30. And if used on Warwolves they would get a tohit bonus against you...

Gotta have player synergy.

Bacon-taunt + any Fire powerset = aroma field

add any storm with gale, hurricane, etc = extended aroma field

now you have critters from the end of a mission map stampeding to you.

secondary effect Baconlust - slack jawed, obscured vision, excessive drooling. the ultimate crowd control.

You know if they took the rigid, shaking animation that is used when you are affected by a shock power and combined it with knockdown, you could have a pretty good 'sizzle like bacon' effect.
