Praetoria starting characters

I have a number of Praetoria starting characters I made before Freedom and now I'd like to move them to hero or villain side but I can't find a way to do so with levelling them up to 20 first. Is there a mechanism to make the moral choice and head to the main dimension prior to 20?

I managed to get one of my Praetorian characters down into the underground where the First Ward entrance was but you can't get to Paragon without changing your moral status first and there is also no "death from below" trials accessible for Praetorian starting characters. If there is a way to get to Paragon early please post it. Its lonely in Praetoria these days.

Yeah, no way. I rolled 4 toons with great costumes, concepts and powersets I like and after level 10 I got bored. One is almost out at 18 lol, but that place besides lonely is so damn boring...

As far as I know, characters who begin in Praetoria must stay there until level 20.

If you want a character with a hero AT to play redside, or a character with a villain AT to play blueside, then just choose to create a regular CoX character, select any AT you want, and then you will be given a choice whether to enter play blueside or redside (either when you finish the tutorial or if you skip it).

In effect, there are no hero or villain ATs anymore. Just 14 ATs that you can choose from and elect to play red, blue, or white.

NOR-RAD - 50 Rad/Rad/Elec Defender - Nikki Stryker - 50 DM/SR/Weap Scrapper - Iron Marauder - 50 Eng/Eng/Pow Blaster
Lion of Might - 50 SS/Inv/Eng Tanker - Darling Nikkee - 50 (+3) StJ/WP/Eng Brute - Ice Giant Kurg - 36 Ice/Storm Controller

Except the Epic ATs. Khelds must start in Paragon (no tutorial), and SoA must start in the Rogue Isles (also no tutorial).

If you've got a character that's stuck, but you like it, you could always go to the tailor, save the costume + powerset customizations, then reroll. You'll lose whatever badges have been accumulated, but you'll be able to level much faster, so no real progress will have been lost.

Interesting. So I'm guessing that a large portion of redside play these days is little more than whatever it takes for a new SoA toon to get ten tips (followed by the morality mission) and turn Rogue?

Far from it. While Redside has never been as popular as Blueside, there are plenty of players who enjoy playing Redside 1-50. There are some really great story arcs there. In fact, I'm playing more villains now that I can take Scrappers and Blasters Redside.

Nope. Heroes have a version, and Villains have a version as well.

It seems to me that the Devs need to do something about Praetoria, it was fairly active at the launch of GR, but, Praetorians can only team with other Praetorians that are <20 (or people that travel to Praetoria). Heroes and Villains both have far better teaming opportunities, with a full 1-50 on their side worth of teaming opportunities in practice. It'd be a shame for all that content and such to go to waste.
