Personally I am not buying the costume slots simply because I have no current need for more than 5 costumes at a time.
I actually expect to see depreciated pricing in certain things over time. That's just good business: you put something on a market for a higher cost that the "gotta-have-it-now's" will buy. Then, after a period of time, you lower the cost to entice those that were on the fence about buying it. Granted, I have no doubt that this rapid change in costume slot price was due to feedback, but I would keep your eyes open for other price decreases as newer things are added to the market.
As for the "212 MBs of stuff," just wait for the patch notes to be posted. That will tell us what was changed.

Early adopters get the early adopter tax. I wouldn't be surprised if the slots were even cheaper in the future as at 800 Points they are still overpriced by a good margin.
I'll be paying the early adopter tax on Street Justice though, and loving it.

I also paid 800 instead of 600 points for the extra cossie slot. If only I had known.... That's the wicked evilness of sales. Just when you bought things they go on sale.
ABout the costume creater. I don't think that we were ever able to zoom in on boots and such. SO they just fixed a lot ofother things that needd fixinf (the patch notes are up btw)
Of all the current issues with i21/freedom - not saving the "Windows Opacity" and having to re-adjust it every time I login irks me to no end.

What hurts is, like I said, 212 megs of info right? OK.... why is the costume part of the character creator (and the Tailor) still broken in a few ways? First, can't zoom in properly on lower body and boots. Secondly, Wisp Aura still gone from new characters, and Thirdly.... Oh wait just checked they fixed the female-shirt-scarf thing... OK so two things >
Again, I'm just kinda upset some of these things are happening, or going overlooked.
But yeah...
