Had a great time (first Tanker Tuesday, and third Tanker attempt of all time, but I'm really enjoying the Shields/MA combo, I always wanted to try MA and I think the devs did a great job with it on Tankers) and still got half a bil for the Posi race win plus a Kinetic Combat someone (I think Ace) gave me when I wasn't looking because I was just reading stuffs while standing pretty in the CC! Thanks for the fun!

Posi team screenie (unfortunately I didn't remember at the moment how to take screenshots with the UI):

And a huge one from some people at the Costume Contest, since it's at 2500xsomething I'll post the link: http://i.imgur.com/OAdxE.jpg

Our time for that winning Posi was 41:26.

Not bad for tanks.

We would have been faster but we bogged down in mish 3 trying to get the groups with the bosses.

Heh true we screwed up in that mission, but it was a good time. I did one after on my human PB that went very smoothly (no rushing nor avoiding mobs but we steamrolled the thing with one teamwipe at the clones because some charged into the bosses, but well that happened in every Posi I did so far that went well like no squishies dying even in the CoT ambush, then the team charges in the clones and faceplant) - the time was around 55 mins and there was only a hospital trip, and that on a group with debuffers plus lots of damage, my PB wasn't even afraid to lead with AoEs, only the clones were pulled by me in the end (after the team faceplanted the first time lol but I expect a teamwipe in the final battle when a regular group - like a not all tanker one - charges on those cheaters who have powers our toons didn't pick ).

Okay it's a little corn-fusing with multiple threads floating about but I figure I'll drop these over here too in case people don't see the other thread.

I nabbed a good two-tree pictures myself. KR1. Here's a few samples. Click on them for the full 1920x1080.

I have a few with names turned on. And my gallery software normally slurps out the metadata. However, it turns out that it only really works for the people on my specific team. Otherwise I'd have a huge chunk of metadata.

So no complete name lists of all the attendees.

While there were quite a few excellent costumes being displayed, these are the final winners of the contest:

Harcore Overall
GRABTHAR'S HAMMER

Because you really have to be hardcore to walk around in public in a getup like that...

Harcore Runner-up
ALERIK

Really, the only thing more hardcore than a Viking is a Samurai or a Spartan.

Concept Overall
WATCHMAN

Since the JSA is no longer part of DC canon, can we have it?

Concept Runner-up
AMERICA'S DEFENDER

No name changes to placate people here.

And there you have it, the final four of the costume contest. Thank you to everyone that participated.

a special note has to be mentioned here. while we were assembling, I noticed that AMERICA'S DEFENDER was wearing this:

I explained to him after the contest that, had he gone with this one, he would have been my Most Hardcore pick.

Two winning-level costumes from the same Tanker. I like it, now let's see how he Tanks.

Hey everyone, didn't forget about posting screenies but had to do some editing because many of them were taken "in the dark" so-to-speak!

I had a hard time narrowing the screenies down out of the 350+ that I took so you are stuck looking at approximately 60, feel free to speed through!

Now to pull the screenies of the winning bios and that will be everything I wanted to post!

Most Definitely. A big shout out to the Justice Tanks who are a huge part of keeping the TTTour running week in, week out, and for helping out in KR2 last night, along with all the other TT vets, since alot of us were at our aggro limit last night with the festivities in KR1.

Alot of TT's success, and longevity is due to the community spirit where everyone gets involved to create their own fun, and not just following the lead, and rules of the people running the events. Their is only one rule in Tanker Tuesday, and that is you do not talk about, er..wait, that's not it, it's that you play a tank.

I had a blast last night, but trying to keep up with 4 channels, plus broadcast while trying to read, and judge bios quickly is not my forte. I even won some influence(woot! I was totally broke) as part of the Posi race, and got the badge(proves I'm no ringer since I hadn't run the new Posi yet).

Thanks to everyone that helped out, which includes everyone that came out to have fun, and to the devs for sending 10 Mother Mayhems to murder me while I was typing in chat. Did it have to be Psi? Thanks alot.

Heh, heh, heh and people wonder why I am now Willpower.

After all of this, all I can say is: Where's our Tanker Tuesday plague!

How about if we make one big post for the winners -- btw the final rough tally of prizes (influence rare IO's rare salvage) between Myrmydon/C.A.P.E., Death Badger, Earthguard SG, Bramphousian, Meowtch & ace was north of $9 Billion - 1 Billion of which we gave away just to anyone who brought a lowbie to the festivities.
Thanks again to all the generosity of everyone one who donated their time and loots to help make a memorable event!

After 20 pages of replies - half by memphisbill ;] - this thread was a valiant step. =)

Rangle - Myrmy will have to verify but I was under the impression that they were judging costumes as a 100% whole between both KR1 & KR2.

Regarding the bio contest, as I stated in a previous post I still have to collect the information from Dinah Might as to who the 1st/2nd/3rd place bio winners were in KR2 as Dinah was so DYNAMITE in handling the bios there entirely on her own (thank you again Dinah!).

Either Dinah can feel free to post them here or PM me the information and I will post them, we surely do not want to leave them out!!

Thank you again to everyone who contributed your time, your money and
loot -which equates to your time- and jumping in to see that the free
flowing fun that is a staple of tanker tuesdays regular or otherwise
continues, everyone who helped in one way or another made for a
memorable evening for long time players and new comers alike, and even the devs for that matter.

The games only seven year event deserved a big splash and many of you
contributed to giving it just that and more! /em bigbearhug =)

Unfortunately I was having "Screen Capture" issues last night.

Normally I would copy paste into Photoshop, but since upgrading to Photoshop CS, all I get is a black screen. So no pics of the bios

The winners of the Bio contest in KR2....

1st Place - Alerik (Who also won a costume contest I see. Lucky Guy)

- Alerik's was well interesting and without grammer or spelling mistakes.

2nd Place - Vidirian Roo (hope I spelled that correctly)

- Roo's bio was completely funny to read. It was like a Dr. Seuss book.

3rd Place - I actually never got the 3rd place prize money until after.... I expect I was frustrated by video lag and screen issues, so it was never issued. HOWEVER. The prize would have been issued to Redmaul. So if someone can help me find him....please do so.

It was so hard to select people to read bios with these big robots getting in the way.

Sorry Folks. AS you can see my video card ain't the best. I sure would like to know what card Acemace has!

I wasn't 100% sure on the costume portion, but I did know the Bio pictures didn't tell the complete story. This isn't meant to be a slight on anyone by any means, I just wanted to make sure anyone who was reading the thread realized that there were additional winners that weren't mentioned yet. As Dinah pointed out the other two KR2 Biography winners were Alerik and Redmaul. Congratulations to all the other prize winners. In the end, all the tanks who were able to participate in the event were winners.

[Dinah, the spelling is Viridian Roo, as in the color Viridian and the CoH Arch-villain Viridian.]

This is correct. We pulled in finalists from both zones, then chose the winners.

Thank you so much Dinah for posting everything!

Hmmm, I thought I sent the second and third place prizes one after another, sorry about that Dinah -- would have sent again if I realized that had happened. The third place was to be $50 mill so I will be more than happy to email it to the winner if they post in this thread with their global to make sure they get it!

<<Rangle, my post wasn't meant in any kind of way, just wanted to mention that I had already posted earlier on in the thread that there were additional bio winners that were not yet mentioned because I certainly wouldn't want anyone to feel left out. I didn't want those winners to feel as if they were not being acknowledged and therefore in reply to your post I mentioned this to make sure that they knew that we wanted to get their information in the thread as well!!>>

Thank you again to everyone that came out for Tanker Tuesday's 7th Anniversary -- we really appreciated not only the devs, contributors/judges but most certainly the participants...without them we wouldn't have all these wonderful screenies!!!

This is a video acceleration issue. If you're still running XP you should be able to turn it off and restore function. If you're on Vista/Win7, you're boned.

However, if you're hitting the Print Screen key, you should still be getting valid screenshots dropped into the screenshot folder under the CoH directory.
