6 tip alignment missions in one session

I'm not complaining about this very odd occurrence.. I really did get 6 Tip Alignment missions + a Morality mission in one session.

Was able to complete the 6th mission but received no "credit" for it. Even more odd, the 6th mission was a dupe of one I'd completed earlier in the session.

If you have tips yourself, and then do someone else's tips for the alignment credit, then your tips won't be used up and you'll still be able to do them even once the five slots are filled.
Tips don't become unusable once you've done 5, they just stop dropping and giving credit.

Main Hero: Mazey - level 50 + 1 fire/fire/fire blaster.
Main Villain: Chained Bot - level 50 + 1 Robot/FF Mastermind.

BattleEngine - "And the prize for the most level headed response ever goes to Mazey"

Yes, I took an iPhone photo of that portion of the screen.

I was playing solo - alone - not sharing anyone else's Tips. I completed all 6 tip missions then did the morality mish within a 1.5 hour time frame.

This was a totally freakish occurrence - no explanation other than an obviously rare server glitch. Just thought you all would like to know about it.

Under keymapping options (the last grouping of options) there's an option to bind Toggle Screenshot UI to a key. If you bind that to something (say X, just for argument's sake), then press X, then press Print Screen, your screenshot will capture the UI.

Interesting - maybe not so rare at all. It doesn't interfere with play or anything - just an extra little bonus Tip to do.

Not rare at all. If you haven't done 5 tips, you will continue to get tip drops until completing your 5th tip. So you can have your 5th tip and 2 more tips. Then you can get 2 morality tips.

Then you can get the Halloween tip, and if you're a villain, you can get the Mortimer Kal tip.

Lots of tips! lol

I am a screenshot FANATIC, and I am always going crazy with the in-game camera. I have free camera movement enabled and that sucker is always whipping around me at all kinds of angles. I am like my own personal cinematographer.

What I always do, is bind the UI Toggle to CTRL+Scroll Lock. Then, the first thing I do is press that to toggle it off (because most of my screenshots are for cool pics and the UI would only be in the way). Whenever I need to take a pic that includes the UI, I toggle it on for that pic. But I always toggle it back off afterward. This keeps me from forgetting whether it's toggled on or off (as there's no way to tell without leaving the client and looking in my screenshot folder, which is incidentally in your Programs > City of Heroes > Screenshots).

(Edit: As a crazy camera man, I also have to have a convenient key bind to reset my camera at any given moment (i.e. snap it back into its default position right behind me in third person). I use E. You can find all of these options and more in your in-game Menu > Options > Key bindings. Except for free camera movement, which is in your Options > Controls.)

I've been running tip missions regularly since GR came out and the above screen shot is the only time this has happened. Just this year that's 106 Hero merits, so once out of 1060 tip missions. Now, that was on my level 50 character and most of my tip missions were on my level 33 character, so maybe that has something to do with it.

Actually, this can be quite variable. You can get 2 hero morality tips at level 40(41?)-50, plus a vigilante morality tip for 3 total, but in the 30-40 range there's only one tip for each of vigilante and hero.

/bind sysrq "screenshotui 0$$screenshot"
/bind shift+sysrq "screenshotui 1$$screenshot"

The guarantees that "PrintScreen" will always give you a picture without UI, and "Shift+PrintScreen" will always give you a picture with UI. You never have to worry about forgetting to toggle it.
