The copyright/profane filter is being looked at.

Confirmed on the UStream, the publishing team is looking into the oddities in the copyright / profanity filter.

Just reposting it here for folks who didn't know. (I didn't know, until Zwil confirmed it.) So, hopefully happy times ahead for the folks who feel AE is completely ruined by the filter.

Now, did they say they were looking into it, or did they say the publishing team handles that kind of thing? From the notes I'd seen from yesterday's UStream, it sounded like the latter. (Of course, if this is info from more recently-good! )

That's an overly-optimistic reading of what was reportedly said.

Zwil today, just now, specifically said the team was looking into it.

In that case, then, I'll keep my fingers crossed!

Does this mean it won't be verboten to refer to the "Freakshow" in a COH storyarc anymore?!

Seriously though, good news... assuming it's not to be done "Soon™"!

I shall believe it when I see it changed in-game, and not one moment before.

The best way to go about this in my experience is usually to say "don't worry, the devs are working on it".
