Origins Costume Bundle - Broken

Among my purchases yesterday was the Origins costume bundle. Post purchase I went to make a new character, and saw that the capes in that bundle were usable but all of the auras for the bundle were still locked. So I logged in a level 50 with auras unlocked to see if it was a glitch, and that character could not use the auras either. I have tried this on all genders, sizes and level ranges with the same result.

I sent in a petition for it and was asked to provide screen shots. I did, but haven't heard anything, nor do I have access to those auras still.

I also bought the Barbarian pack and had no issue at all; I had instant access to all of its pieces.

I'm not sure whether it was a Dev post, an OCR post or something from the Ustream chats but something was recently said about costume bundles being the costume bits only. Auras are separate from the costume bundles.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Black Pebble is my new hero.

Wish I would have known that before wasting money on it. The market info needs to be more informative. And if I remember correctly wasn't the origin pack $10 when it was released? If you buy the Origins bundle and all the auras that were in the pack you end up spending $15. If I knew they were gonna hike the price I would have bought it before the market went live.

That is ridiculous and wholly unacceptable. For one, auras ARE costume bits. For two, the entire Origins pack when it was released was only 5 capes and 10 auras. So I spent the same amount for 5 capes that I did for the entire Barbarian set?

Why isn't this detailed in the market?

Sorry TJ, not trying to shoot the messenger here. I'm just really upset by all this, especially since I haven't heard anything from CS in nearly a week and my status has been showing "awaiting approval" the whole time.

I recall reading somewhere that the Devs did say to buy super boosters before freedom went live, because it would be cheaper.

Yeah, Aura's ARE costume bits. No two ways about it.

No freakin' kidding, the super tailor alone was as much as a rename token. There'd better be a lot more free content in the future to make up for all this, after all, we VIPs aren't getting a whole lot more for free than we were before.

Did you pay for the points you used to unlock the super tailor? Or did you get them, and hence the super tailor, for free?

If auras do not count as costume pieces take them out of the costume tab in the market and list what is actually included in the pack before the purchase. It's a bug pure and simple.

Currently my ticket is open (for almost 4) days last response is they are investigating it so tells me something might be borked.

And I agree the packs should list (or have a link) to what is exactly in it for example I got the Mutant pack and got everything except the power and emotes and costume change emotes which is fine (as I bought the costume pack not emotes or power) so that makes sense

I am in the same boat, and will be very disappointed if they don't fix this. With other booster packs its a bunch of costume bits and a couple auras. The origins pack was the auras. Not including them and giving you 5 capes for that many points is rediculous. I really hope this isn't an indication of things to come.

I got this problem resolved today, and also got confirmation that the auras are NOT included in the costume bundles. The new Paragon Market interface is now explicit about it.

While I am pleased with my customer service experience, I am deeply disappointed with how they are handling costume bundles.

This. You get 400 points (550 if you're Tier 9) FREE every month. No, as a VIP you cannot get everything instantly unlocked for free. But if you wait a bit, you can get the stuff you want most, delay the stuff you don't want as much.

Why on earth would you think auras are costume items. You'd have to be mad, I mean it's not like you access them via the Costume Creator or anything, is it now?
