Scene shift - a sun drenched beach, with a burning resort behind it. A figure - dressed from the waist down in beach shorts and sandals and from the belt up in a Longbow outfit - lounges with a drink in one hand and a sat-phone in the other.
"... so I said. 'Look, I don't give two shites about who's in there. Tell the little vegetarian bastich and the rest of his pretentious granola-sucking, glue-huffing, tree-hugging half-wits the world jokingly refers to as musicians that you made a mistake. I booked that suite three months ago, and I want it... now.' So... then the frog looks and me and says... get this... 'Get over it.' [pause] Well, ok... maybe I overreacted a little... but I was jet-lagged. [beep} Ok... fortheloveof... Hold on... I gotta take this. [click] This is Crossbow... start talkin' or start runnin' [pause] No way... [pause] No Way... [Pause] NO WAY! [click] Dude... I gotta run. Catch ya back at the Isles.'
The figure tosses back the last of his drink and hops out of the chair, yelling out to the blond just coming in from the surf.
"Yo... Gwyn... hate to break up the party but Daddy's got to run. We're gettin' the Band back together!...
... Now where the hell'd I put my pants?"
It's 106 miles to Grandville, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing faceless helmets

Just a question.
but the characters in the AE. do they have to be inherently villainous? or do they just have to have ties with Arachnos?
Also, if they have ties with other country's arachnos branches, are thay applicable?(my character had ties with Arachnos Italy)

and I have to say that after finding this group Im pretty happy so far....yes they could stand to be more active but I am sure that will come in time with the Free to Play and the infusion of new blood into the group.....

Its been two long years. Two too long, if you ask me.
It was shortly after the death of our former leader, the Arachnos Commander, that things started to fall apart. Members, who were loyal only to the Commander, questioned everything they believed. What would happen to the Elite?
I did what I thought was best. I closed our doors so that we could rebuild ourselves, bigger and stronger than ever before. Unfortunately, things dont always go as planned.
While the Rogue Isles were invaded by the heroes of Paragon, Paragon was invaded by the scourge of the Isles. Everyone questioned what they first believed was the truth. Then the Praetorians made their presence known. It was not our time to shine. So we stayed behind closed doors to continue our preperation.
I wouldnt say that we lost ourselves in the shuffle of the world around us. Id say that we were hibernating and waiting for the weather to be more pleasant before we took to the streets once more. Then, once again, the world around us shook. This time, it proved to be more beneficial for us.
Today, in what was at first believed to be a natural disaster, Galaxy City began to crumble. Buildings began to topple and burn while citizens of that forsaken city realized that this day might be their last.
Meteors crashed down upon Galaxy with a vengeance, but it didnt stop there. Creatures crawled out of the craters and began to destroy everything that was still standing. Even I still cant believe that so many lives ceased to be. But life, for us, must go on
Seeing an opportunity right in front of us, Lord Recluse called for the immediate dispatch of forces to the destroyed city in the hopes of finding some lost souls that feel that redemption is staring down the barrel of a high powered rifle. Im sure that many citizens of Paragon are questioning why their heroes didnt save them. I mean, they always save the day. Hell, they brag about it every chance they get. But now, these lost and angry souls realize that their heroes are nothing more than children dressed in Halloween costumes. Their heroes cant save them, so the only choice they have left is to become their own hero and follow the only being mighty enough to protect them Lord Recluse!
I knew that today would be the day the Elite marked its return. Amid all the chaos, destruction and loss of hope, the Arachnos Elite will reach new heights! Mark my words mark my words.
Its the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.
