Fire/SD question
I'm no expert (I actually have an open thread a few down asking for help with Fire/Shield myself) but just an initial couple observations: You have more ranged and melee defense slotted than you really need and could probably get some more helpful bonuses by changing some things around there; also, if you really want Hasten, drop Super Jump for it, you can get by with sprint and ninja run fine (and ninja run looks awesome with a shield anyway).

Why the two Hami-O's in Active Defense? I don't think the Defense or ToHit aspects of the Hami-O's you slotted have any effect in that power. Seems like a much less expensive solution would be to use two Recharge IO's.

How so? This is my first crack at a softcapped toon, and I'm trying to work out the details. Like I said, any advice is appreciated!

It's weird in the sense that I don't see a 6-slotted Gaussian's set in build up, a must-have for all positional defense builds. That gives you 2.5 def to all positions. You also went above the softcap on melee defense so I'd take out one of the sets that gives you 3.75 melee def. You can use the slots freed up to boost your recharge further.
On what to drop, personally I'd drop Aid Self and rely on Rebirth destiny to cover the heals. There's a fair amount of DoT in incarnate trials which makes Aid Self less effective. Rebirth will also be boosted by your spiritual alpha which is a plus. Take the radial one, it gives a huge regen bonus as well that's much more useful than the miniscule +MaxHP that core rebirth gives.
Thank you for your advice, everyone. I didn't even know about the Gaussian's Synchronized Fire Control. With these suggestions, I've revamped my build. I was even able to pick up the Blaze Mastery pool to get a good ranged attack. Here's the final version of my build:

every build runs the highest DPS attack chain of Incinerate>Cremate>GFS
post-respec has problems with endurance but im working on ageless so hoping that will sort it out
Hopefully you can have a look and see another way to softcap but this time with higher s/l resists and a better attack chain

I recently got my Fire/SD scrapper to 50 and I'm trying to decide on a final build. Currently, I use the build below (minus the Gladiator's proc. Still grinding tips for that one ):

This build has Aid Self and Physical Perfection from the Medicine and Body Mastery pools, but lacks Hasten and Super Speed. I'd really like to get those last two in the build, so I've been attempting to find an alternate build that preserves or improves the existing defense without sacrificing the offense.
So far, I've worked out two options: drop the Medicine pool, or drop the Body Mastery pool. I'm worried that dropping Aid Self may make me squishier, and I'm worried that dropping Physical Perfection may cause me to have end problem. As it stands, I find my self occasionally reaching for my heal, and I have to click Conserve Power in extended fights. I'm coming here for suggestions and any other ideas you may have. Thanks for any you can offer!
