How much will I have to pay come Freedom?
And you can also do the long-term subscriptions. So it only costs me around $12 per month.

I'm hoping they do the 14- for 12-month subscription deal again around the holidays. That averages out to less than $11 per month that way. It's got a little bit of a sticker shock factor to it, but you can pry my City of Heroes from my cold, dead fingers.
We've been saving Paragon City for eight and a half years. It's time to do it one more time.
(If you love this game as much as I do, please read that post.)
Plus, as part of the subscription you will be given 400 Paragon Points per month to spend in the game store. (If you have enough Vet Awards, that will increase to 550 PP per month.)

However, issue 21 and Freedom itself might lead you to paying the game more of your free time, which is never at a premium

I spent some time reviewing the boards for Freedom Beta, I found it extremely hard to find a direct answer to my question. How much is it going to cost me to keep everything I have going now? I read some things that gave the impression I'll actually have to pay -more- to access things I already have. If that's the case, that's just flat out ridiculous. I'm hoping I can continue to buy my time cards for the same price and receive just as much as I do now, I mean it doesn't really make sense for a game to become more expensive as time goes on...Everything seems to have limitations that really don't add up. For instance paragon points really make no sense to me, so I get a certain amount per month? Can I purchase more?
I don't know, this seems to be far more confusing than any other "free to play" I've ever seen. I'm expecting lots of people to come to this game thinking "We can finally play CoH without having to pay!" then realizing it's all really just fancy wording for "You're still going to have to pay if you want to hang with the rest of the kids." If someone could set the record straight for me, I'd appreciate it greatly.
