Because asking for a non-human rig edit and a costume piece that would work fine on all human-rigs is similar....how? Exactly?

What would you call a Redeemed Devoured? A Regurgitated?

I also don't see any significant story (epic) connection between Rikti and Praetoria.

Where to find me after the end:
The Secret World - Arcadia - Shinzo
Rift - Faeblight - Bloodspeaker
LotRO - Gladden - Aranelion
STO - Holodeck - @Captain_Thiraas

Obviously, I don't care about NCSoft's forum rules, now.

The fact that he said "snake girls", to me, is asking for that option not because you'd love to play a Snake... but because of the costume on (or should I say not on) those Snakes... similar to the Sybil costume.

I have been giving this some thought and I am still not sure where Memphis_Bill's objections are coming from. The existing EATs didn't really have very much "Epic" in terms of pre-existing story or mission arcs, as I see it, the EAT "Epic" story began with their creation. I see no reason why the Praetorian EAT should have to be different. . .

You'd pretty much have to make it its own archetype. Unless they gave the body type its own animations for martial arts and the like.

You've never looked at the 1-50 arcs Khelds got, then, I take it? That goes into their background, the ongoing Kheldian war, what the Nictus are doing short and long term, the attempted genocide by the Nictus, the Council infighting and the attempt to take over the Earth and turn it into a Nictus homeworld?

See, again,
Quote:
1. noting or pertaining to a long poetic composition, usually centered upon a hero, in which a series of great achievements or events is narrated in elevated style: Homer's Iliad is an epic poem.
2. resembling or suggesting such poetry: an epic novel on the founding of the country.
... which has always been the meaning meant by the devs, regardless of what you may think.

I have done most of the Arc with a Warshade (Now level 50), and some of it with a PB (Still mid 20s).

My point is, were the Kheld arcs/back story there before the Kheldians were in game?

No. There were, in fact, tweaks to existing lore when they were introduced (such as Requiem going from a "dark" being to a Nictus.)

You'll also note that you cannot access them with anything BUT a Kheldian, which would make having them pre-existing rather silly, wouldn't you say? Regular characters only touch on it in two (now 3, somewhat, with the ITF/Cimerora) areas - Moonfire, and the mission where you see requiem's diary.

And that is exactly why I can make the case for a Praetorian EAT, the lore will be created with the PEAT. Yes I am aware that there is no level 50 content yet for Praetoria, but I have to assume that one day there will be.
