Well, there is the announcement that the maintenance is over... But when I log in, all servers are just unelectable triple grey dots for me even though it's past 6 PM eastern.
Clearly, we need more lasers.
Emergency maintenance. Everyone has been getting that. As of the last update, about 45 minutes, still no ETA for the servers being back up.
Just checked - not up.

Glad it's just not me. I had the same problem with getting booted and for the past few hours haven't been able to select a server at all, all grayed out. Thanks for posting

Make all IO's available in Paragon Market! NCSoft, the chinese are making BIG money selling influence and other stuff in the game. Best way to stop them = make the paragon market a place to buy all IO's and perhaps other things as well.
Sorry you're having problems getting on, especially on your day off. Trust me, I know exactly how annoying that can be.
But, alas, we're in emergency maintenance. Frietag returned one of my PMs and said that he couldn't elaborate on when the servers would be back on.
I'm pretty sure it will be fairly soon, as it's already been a couple of hours. Not sure exactly what's being done, and I couldn't hazard a guess, either.

LOL Couple of hours? This has been going on since the servers came back up this afternoon. Ugh. it's just my roten luck that I finaly get a day off from driving my rig and I cant even play/relax. Well, guess I will just forget about the game for the night, drink a beer and watch Watchmen or something. Couldnt hope to be recompensated for the downtime (ya right, like all the emergency **** downs on double xp weekend).
I dont know. I am just taking a guess at this, but CoX has not seen this much traffic in quite some time, and thats why there is so much problems.

It's been approximately 2 1/2 hours since they announced the emergency server maintenance and took down the servers.
Considering they just replaced a bunch of hardware this morning, it's really not all that shocking that something small would slip through and suddenly become big once it's live with thousands upon thousands of people (instead of dozens) hammering the servers. In a few days they should have all the kinks worked out and people will have completely forgotten about any issues, and with the beefier hardware the servers should be able to handle higher numbers of concurrent players, which'll definitely be necessary for Freedom (they seriously should have picked a name that wasn't already used by a server!).

I completely agree with this. I too am on freedom and just moving around in many zones is a horrid thing indeed ( I am on a wireless internet because the truck stop internet wireless SUCKS! So I use Verizon)

hmm, sounds like I'm still stuck in this loop 2 days later. Any way to rerun that fix and hope it sticks?

Ok, since they shut down the servers for the "5" hour patch (Yes that was the actual in game message this morning) I have only been able to get in game for about half an hour then I get booted to the log in screen. From there, I log in; go to server select, then get booted back to log in. For HOURS this goes on. Then finaly...I get to log in and select my server, get in the server to character select, then...Booted back to log in...Is anyone else having similar problems? This is freaking annoying. My first day off in 6 weeks and I am unable to even enjoy the game because of this!
