About DC Comics

IMO this list is pretty much bang on....although there are more things that could probably be added.....

You only fail if you give up. - Dana Scully

Time Jesum Transeuntum Et Non Riverentum - Nick Cave

We're not just destroyers, at the same time we can be saviors. - Allen Walker

You know, normally I'd be filled with righteous nerdrage at the changes, but all of the constant reboots and poor executive decisions at DC have finally made me completely numb to whatever it is they do next.

Perhaps after this, Batman will be permanently replaced by a small fuzzy kitten.

Current Published Arcs
#1 "Too Drunk to be Alcoholic" Arc #48942
#2 "To Slay Sleeping Dragons" Arc #111486
#3 "Stop Calling Me"

Oracle would be number one on my list. I have a few friends that are upset about her reboot as well.

There's always IDW and Dark Horse.

For me, I could probably spend the rest of my life collecting the back issues of the various DC lines (barring stuff like Action Comics #1, Detective Comics #27, etc., namely the ultra rare-expensive stuff) and be happy. I don't want DC to fold up shop and take down their shingle, but I can't really see buying any of the new stuff. Maybe in 20 years, if they're still around I can start up again, but I've gotten a little too attached to the characters as-is and can't suffer through the growing pains of them going through yet another reboot.

I saw what they did to Harley.

*pulls on red-and-white-boots,picks up massive hammer and sack of exploding wind-up teeth and sets off for DC offices humming a jauntily murderous tune*

Is it time for the dance of joy yet?

That small fuzzy kitten can beat anyone, given enough time to plan.
