This sounds perfect. an entirely sweeped zone for an hour? Sounds rather epicish.

I know, that's what I'm in. I want to see this done. NO baddies hanging around would be funny and awesome at the same time.
And I couldn't help myself... I hadda roll a new character to be in the 1-8 range, so I rolled... Galaxy's Last Stan. A Kin/Sheld scrapper. Fun little guy so far.

This is an awesome idea. GC is my starting zone of choice and it will be dearly missed. You may rely on my support.

Idea wasn't mine, it was Guy_5's, I am just banging on the drum trying to get people out. Hopefully he will turn out and help us bash stuff. I am more of an Atlas guy myself, but hopefully this will be a fun send off and give us a cool Galaxy story to tell later.
Just a reminder that this is tonight. Come out and help, we will need everyone we can lay our paws on to pull this off.
Just got done with the Pinnacle Galaxy Sendoff! A FUN time for me, and I think everyone enjoyed the idea of sweeping the streets clear. Although, I have no idea if it is even doable, and how you'd know.
But the camradarie for that hour was definitely worth it. Thanks for the great time. And I definitely have a new scrapper to play with in Galaxy's Last Stan. The Bio will be really easy to do now. 
We should totally pick another zone sometime and do this again!

Thanks to everyone that came out. The next person that complains that there is nothing to do but trials gets no sympathy from me. We slapped around the Vahz, the Clocks and the Hellions and filled the zig up. Many a purse made it home safely thanks to the efforts of the heroes tonight. I had a great time and I hope everyone else did as well.
Give ya one that... apparently except for a shadow... isn't quite so jaggy, but a little farther off.
Nice. My graphics are set to banana republic, yours are much nicer.
Galaxy City Sendoff Party
Friday 8/26 10pm est.
This friday night lets give Galaxy City a send off that Paragon City will remember for years. For one hour lets make Galaxy City the safest place in Paragon City. Citizens will walk about with no fear, birds will sing and the PPD will have nothing to do but eat donuts.
The Cunning Plan:
We form a league and sweep the zone clean of crime. Every Clockwork is cleaned. Every Vahzilok is hospitalized. Every Hellion is harried. All Infected are cured. No crime is left unpunished, every villain sent to the Zigg. The Magi vault goes unrobbed for one whole hour! The streets are made safe for the citizens of Galazy city for one brief shining moment .... Hey! What is that glowing object in the sky?
Pinnacle has the best community in the game. We cream the itrials, we crush Hamidon, we clobber task forces. Lets see if we can clear a complete zone for an hour.
Details:
* Try for level appropriate characters or exemplared down. If this isn't possible we will form some higher level teams for quick clearing of areas away from the low level league.
* Meet up under Galaxy Girl at 10pm est. and we clean until 11pm.
* We will hit all the badge spots if you want to get them before the comet hits.
* If we can get some GM support we may see some Rikti and or Zombies.
