Earned hero powers?
Heroes (and villains) can get Ancillary Power Pools. They don't need to run any missions to get them. They open up at level 41 automatically.

No that is not what I am talking about. If a level 45 or higher villian toon goes to Grandvile and speaks with the Arbiter, one can ally oneself with an arch villian. You do a story arc for them and you recives a new power set, which is quite powerful. Is there a similiar set up on the Hero side?
We know what you're talking about. StarGeek told you what there was.

Vills do the mission arc to unlock vil epics powers, while heroes just unlock them automatically.
ok Thank you for your responses,

you can get a patron at lvl 40 and start running the first half of their arc, the 2nd half is locked till lvl 45

So technically speaking, you unlock Patron powers after doing 1/4 of the arcs they have for you.

Note heroes can use PPPs too, but must first become a villain in order to unlock them.

Negaduck: I see you found the crumb. I knew you'd never notice the huge flag.
ugh. Summary for the OP and anyone playing along at home:
- Heroes and Villains both have access to Anciliary Power Pools at level 41 without running any special arcs.
- Villains have the option to run an arc after picking a patron to use a Patron Power Pool instead.
- There is nothing similar heroside. Heroes wanting to do so have to go Villain. (There are no "Hero Mentors" with arcs. They have been requested at times.)
- The 45+ story arc has nothing to do with the PPP. It's unlocked already. It just deals with the endgame of Operation: Mindc... er, Destiny.
On the Villian side, a toon can aqcuire power sets from Ghost Widow, etc. , after completing a task force / story arc. Is there a similiar set up on the Hero side. If so, where does my toon go to contact the story arc? I am not asking about Incarnate powers, but something else. Thank you in advance.
