Darkness Superteam on Justice
Here's some of my ideas for a single powerset team.
1) Beam
2) Time
3) Poison
4) Gravity
5) Storm
6) Trick Arrow ( I know this has done before, but I'd like to see how well a team of TA corrs would do)
7) Kinetics (but not kinetic melee)
In other news, Baub's vid card died and we won't be able to replace it for a couple weeks.

My quick list (in no particular order):
beam (although i bought the powerset i would want an alternative "free" set for those who wish to join but don't want to spend the points/$ to get it. yes i sound like a broken record but i would rather have it said then not said at all.)
time
poison
plant control (so many creepers...so many seed of confusion...but willing to set this on backburner since creepers does take a hit on the graphics/lag)
kinetics (either has an all melee or all non-kin melee)
My List
Sonic Resonance (For the resist shields and the foe -res)
Kinetics Buffing Set
Time
Fire Blast
Ice Blast
Xon

Justice superteamers: We have a website now, in case the forums get closed early. If you've ever run with us, come visit us again before the curtain falls. We're running bucket list characters--anything you've always wanted to play but never got around to.
My list:
1) Time
2) Cold Blast (combined with time, think of how slow every baddie would be)
3) Gravity (would be fun to see all the flying baddies with that many singularities)
4) Beam (PEW PEW PEW)
5) Fire blast (who doesn't like a good fire?)
And it's not cause I have names with the initial PC already in the works...

Guardian is my home server, but will play for fun anywhere
Ok, folks. The poll has been posted to choose our next superteam theme. I tried to go with a shorter list this time, focusing on the powersets that seemed (to me) to get the most buzz in our conversations. Also, the choices are specific powersets rather than wide-ranging themes, so we can focus on extreme stacking.
So, get voting...

Narayan, Isra, Vorian, Armel, Sapho, Magga, Dukkha, Dakini, Orazio, Saral
I should name my next character 3grak.
This is our first post-Freedom team, isn't it? We could potentially start Red, Blue, or Gold.

Praetoria- The story arcs are more challenging and more entertaining. However, when we start in Praetoria, there's usually a few stragglers that get left behind.
Red side- We could jump into running the new training missions or some Death From Below. There's also the option of running mayhems to work on Invader
Blue side- Like red side, we could jump into running the new content. We could also start running task forces for merits and credit towards Task Force Commander
I think there's pros and cons to starting in each zone. Praetoria is fun and challenging, but the group gets spread a little thin to go back and help stragglers. Villain side is also a lot of fun too. It's really easy to get around and the story arcs are fairly well written and entertaining. Hero side is the merit trough. It's got the most zones, but we have a big shiny base to get around.
My choice would be to go villainside. I think the last time that we started villain was the bladed team and that was a few teams ago. Praetoria is great, but we've started the last few teams there.
Just my 2 inf.

I am leaning towards starting redside...just for a change of pace.
Plus if we go either red or blue, and decide to use one of the old SGs, we can have base access from day one.

We've done our first Lambdas! Many Interfaces were unlocked. Then we tried a MoM. And there was much gnashing of teeth.
For Friday, choices abound: SSA#5, WST (Numina/Ice Mistral), more trials. Or, correct me if I'm wrong, we haven't done the LRSF with the Darkness team yet, have we?

I don't think we have done LRSF on the dark team. Ethereal Frost has it unlocked if that's what we end up doing. SSA#5 is an option for folks that haven't ran it. We could do a quick Numina for notices/xps for non-50's.

We didn't do this for Issue 22 because the story arc will still be in the midst of being released when that is launched, and we want the game to reflect the state at the end of the story, not the point five-sevenths of the way in.

EDIT-Baub's puter has arrived and is being assembled as I type this.

Last weekend on the Darkness team before we start the Time Manipulation team! If you've played on the team, come by on Friday for one more session!
(Sunday will probably be slow; I hear there's some kind of sporting event going on then.)
Then join us on the Time Manipulation team on Feb. 10 (see http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=282627)!

The new year opened with a WST Treespec and a Mortimer Kal SF. Chatter continues to rise around our next theme. If you have thoughts, speak up on Friday or Sunday, or post here.
(1) Consensus seems to be building for a narrow focus--single powerset (like the Traps and Trick Arrow teams).
(2) Time Manipulation and Beam Rifle have been mentioned as the obvious candidates (they're new, and both have good stacking mechanics). It was noted that Gravity Control is due for tweaking in i22 (whenever that may be). Other suggestions are very welcome!
Some kind of +4 TF has been proposed for Friday (probably LGTF or ITF).
