Darkness Superteam on Justice

The base is 99% done. I'll do a walk through and make some last minute tweaks but for the most most part it's done. When my more tech savvy other half gets home, I'll see about posting a map because we are now the proud owners of one freaking big base. Great job earning prestige all!

There's going to be a Praetorian invasion happening at about when we're going to start. Any interest in beating down some Praetorians? I was also thinking of finishing off the Atlas Medallion for the people in my group that ran Moonfire last time.

Tonight we had teams running in Croatoa. I'm not sure how many of us finished the arc and unlocked Katie Hannon, but I'm sure there will be enough of us to get a Katie on Friday. If I remember correctly, there's a few people that aren't in level range (30+). If that's the case, we can split into two groups and a lower level task force (Moonfire, Admiral Sutter) group.

The base looks great EF lots of room to run around in.

Also, I will not be on Friday and possibly Sunday. I'm heading out of town Thursday night and won't be coming back until Sunday.

See you all next week!

Any interest in running Mortimer Kal and some patron arcs? I know I have patrons unlocked and I believe that there are others that are going vill for patrons.

Does anyone have any preference for patron arcs? Scirocco has the most potential for AV's, Black Scorpion can be done quickly, Ghost Widow fits the theme and Mako is very dark humored.

There was three teams running on Sunday. There was a Sister Psyche, vig tips and a vill tip team running.

There's lot of potential for skullduggery and mayhem on Friday. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

How about the redside "Who Will Die?" part 2 for an appetizer, Kal for an entree, and patron arcs or villain tips for dessert?

If anyone isn't vigilante yet, speak up here or in the channel, we'll give you a hand.

Justice superteamers: We have a website now, in case the forums get closed early. If you've ever run with us, come visit us again before the curtain falls. We're running bucket list characters--anything you've always wanted to play but never got around to.

I would like mine with fava beans and a nice Chianti.

Sounds like a plan to me.

Hello, everyone!

Our thread has been retrieved from limbo and placed here in the Justice forum, many thanks to Avatea.

For those of you who've run with us but not recently, we're still going strong. Most of the folks showing up these days are scattered through the 30s and low 40s now. Anyone is still welcome to join us, though. Two hints: first, we run amok all over red and blueside now. If you're a rogue or vigilante, you'll be able to join us whatever we do. Second, if you're lower level, join us early in the evening so we can plan something you can join.

Otherwise, it's a fine time to join us. With Patron arcs redside, AV arcs blueside, and tips both ways, we're doing a lot of regular missions. I don't think there's been an SG evening yet where we had less than two teams going.

"Percy revealed his new ---> persona<---. "I am Master Midnight, your new lord and master!" They laughed at first, but this gross underestimation of Percy would be their last."

So from the new page of lore.... i found a word that i could not help but laugh at. However, i am really tired and had ninth graders acting like third graders today.

Just saw that...cleared up the Master of Midnight reference I guess i came across while running First Ward missions back when I started playing catch-up.

(1) Any theme for the CC?

(b) Open to whole SG or just darkness toons? (I don't like non-thematic costumes on my characters.)

Back when we were voting on what would become the guns group, I was utterly convinced that "kinetics" was going to win. B Movie Janet was all set to become a sonic/kin, because movies are just sound and motion, right? I had a handful of good B-movie costumes ready, only a couple of which translated successfully to guns (pirate wench and film noir detective). So now you've given Janet an excuse to pull a season-appropriate B-movie costume out of the closet tonight, for which she is grateful.

And I'm really tempted to make another version of her in the future, if the next team heads the way I hope it does. Because movies are a kind of time-traveling illusion, aren't they?

Thanks to EF for running our SG event!

I think the hide and seek has good potential for a public event. We had what, ten people seeking, and each time it took about 5 minutes to find EF. I'd choose a more varied zone, though--something like Faultline, or (my redside favorite) St. Martial. You'd have more interesting clues available that way.

For Sunday, how about an xp push? If we can get everyone up to 35, you know what happens then. How about more patron arcs and/or blueside AV arcs?

It was a lot of fun to think it up and give it a trial run. I really appreciate you guys for going along with my harebrained ideas.

If that's what we decide on as a public event, it'll have to be tweaked a bit, but I think there's potential there.

XPs sounds great. I know arafel was running AV missions and Hedge was finishing up his patron arc. I'd like to beat down Mr. Big Bag o'XPs (also known as Lord Recluse) a few times too.

I have the end of my BS part 2 arc and a bulb away from 45 which means i get part three(?). Currently i require assistence to take down silver mantis and then stoping BS.

I can help with taking down some AV's. I *really* want to get the xps from LR with patrol xps and an xp booster before going back blue side. The more people that are running patron arcs just means more people with LR to beat up after they hit 45+.

Friday we could split into a task force group and a patron arc group.

I'm really curious how we would fair in Itrials on this group. My gut says that we'll be fine but everybody would need some level shifts. The people that don't have Incarnates on this server should get priority. I don't see why the tricked out alum and other alts can't be broken out to help them get that done.

I'm not sure if anyone else notices, but the name of this thread has become repetitive and redundant . Any thoughts on trying to get that changed to something different? Is that even possible?

There was a bit of low turnout last night, which was expected do to the possible three day weekend for some...But i believe the plan for sunday will be a a semi-crazy ITF for xp's. We balance out teams as needed between the lower levels the upper ones. Altogeather it should yield a fun time.

People are starting to hit 50 now. I believe that we have 6 50's now. IIRC MP, arafel, Hedge, King, Baub and I have all hit 50. If I left anyone out, I'm sorry.

Friday will be all about getting people caught up. Moonfire/Renault is the WST next week. We could run Moonfire and get the all the other requirements for the Atlas Medallion.

Hope everybody is having a good week and is well.

Boy, did we ever choose the wrong time to start a darkness team...

This. A thousand times this. Personally I blame the devs for not consulting with us before making decisions like this.

/sarcasm off

I'll just leave this here. Star Wars Burlesque

Hope everybody is having a good week. Baub and I will be having dinner with the fam on Friday so we'll see you guys on Sunday.

Edit- here's a link with more info on darkness control. Relevant info is in post 135 by Synapse.

Hi all, had a great time on Sunday, 3 lvls with Experience and XP Booster running while on a +4x8 ITF.

I will be going out of town for Thanksgiving to visit family. I will be out Friday, and most likely Sunday as well.

Take care and see you all later,
