Brain seizing up, slotting Singularity Question

So, I returned to my controller. And I see I have an Endoplasm Exposure and 3 Peroxisome Exposures slotted into Singularity.

This feels pretty fun [in the 'my singularity can arguably hold better than I can' sort of way]. And I'm pretty happy with those 4 slots. but I'm just staring at the other two wondering what to do with them.

I kind of like the idea of 6 slotted sing, but most of the other suggestions I see slot the Sing with Expedient instead, but I really don't see the point myself. So anyway, I'm left wondering for ideas for the other two slots.

I had a thought for trying Explosive Strike: Chance for Smashing Damage, but I'm not too sure how that would work out [I really should just test it on test myself, but I'm lazy and hoping someone else has experience]. Also, would say a Force Feedback/Recharge even have an effect on the pet? I know MM pets ignore recharge effects mostly, but do the older pets do as well?

2 slots? get both of the Resist aura IOs to further increase Sing's survivability. Depending on your secondary you could go with the 2 defense auras, instead. An extra 20% resist or 10% defense could go a long way.

SG: Guadians of Paragon - VG: Paragon's Darkness
The Usual Suspects: Fimboolvetr (Icer Tank), Tsukiyomi (Mind/Psi/Ice Dom), Smiting Dragon (Dm/Sr Scrap), Widow Mortis (NW)
Up and Comers: Ameterasu (Km/Reg Scrap), Arrhymian (Elec/Nin Stalk), TDMKII (Bot/Traps MM)

FF secondary, so prolly resist if I do, since the singy is getting ~ +30% defense from bubbles directly.

Kinda regreting now that I can't easily directly pull up my sings stats like I can with my mm. Base resists are still pretty much the base 50% resist, so I dunno. Just doesn't seem too useful, but I suppose it's a thought at least . Shuffling that to 70% could be nice, I guess the deal is I just don't see my singy dying enough to be worth it, but that might be becuase most of my memory of singys is from back when they were 90%.

If you're FF, defense would be better than resist. Each point of defense is better than the last, up to 45%, so if he has 30, going to 40 is a large jump.

Look at it this way, right now, he has 80% total defense. You start with 50, he gets 30 more. so 2/10 attacks hit him. at 90% defense, 1/10 attacks hit him. That means 10% more defense will halve his incoming damage.

Compare that to 20% res, which is 20% less damage. Defense wins.

For most secondaries, I would suggest increasing Singy's Resistance, but with FF as your secondary, I agree that Defense would be better than Resistance. Either one will increase Singy's survival.

Singy is already one of the hardest pets to defeat as is.. If you are adding your bubbles tohim.. He is gonna be just fine.. Personally I almost never slot pets very high.. usually three to five tops.. Usually three Nucleos.. and im done..

The hard things I can do--- The impossible just take a little bit longer.

If numbers are so much more important than a teammate who is fun to play with, forget about the game altogether and go play with a calculator instead. -Claws and Effect-

Something that may have been helpful to remember when posting that earlier. That was without Power Boost :/, thanks to the new group buffs that should be reliable to have up on my Singy.

Moves defense up to ~32.6% from shields, then another 12.7% from Dispersion. So bleh ~45%, which leaves me again wondering. Of course, with trials, the soft cap is a closer to 59 or 60, so it would be useful there... Hmm.

[ edit / add ]
Of course, on trials, it's very unlikely for my singy to only have my buffs, so again graaah, guess will just have to play with it.

That's how I plan to have mine slotted. Since you prefer damage over accuracy, swap out a Nucleolus for a Peroxisome and you're golden.
