LotG's are gonna spike again.

The new Powerset Proliferation announcement is defense-heavy with Energy Aura for scrappers (and revamped for brutes), Super Reflexes for tanks, Ice Armor for stalkers and Broadsword and Katana for Brutes (I'm sure there's some people who slot Parry for defense, or at least with a LotG +rech).

So stock up now while it's still possible to find bargain prices, and get ready to make a killing off the people who don't want to get them the patient way!

or just dont buy them and use merits or (vill/Her) merits... Abusing toons that can get that easily and then mail it to the toons who need.

Oh, that's what I do already. I'm talking about snatching up the cheap ones now, so that you've got a nice big stockpile for all the people who have just PLed a brand new SR tank or EA scrapper, and want 5 LotG's NAO, and are willing to pay a half billion each for them.

And honestly, doing the work to earn them myself when I can underpay someone else to do it for me just doesn't seem all that ebil.

I doubt we'll see a significant raise (~20%+) in LoTG prices, but you can quote me on that if I turn out to be wrong.

I'm not sure how high LotG's will go... but in general powerset proliferation means lots of people playing new characters up, which means prices on valuable IOs across the board will go up.

Don't forget Time Manipulation. There's bound to be a lot of new Defenders/Corruptors/Controllers/Masterminds in I21 which will also increase the demand for some IOs.

One thing to note though, the new proliferation and powersets are coming along with Freedom, which will include the enhancement unslotters.

So there's another downward force that can potentially be applied.

Kinetic Combats are gonna go off the charts with all those scrapper players and the buff to /ea

Maybe not the recipes but the salvage required to craft them will rise. I haven't bought a LoTG recipe or crafted IO with influence in a long time.

Given the relative ease of obtaining non-Purple, non-PVPO items via Incarnate Trials, I think this demand increase is going to have a lot of extra supply poured on it. That leaves me pretty unsure about betting on a (significant) price increase.

There's about 10 characters' worth of [for instance] Kinetic Combat IO's on the market. It wouldn't take a lot of fresh demand to clear it out in a hell of a hurry. I know, there's a lot of secret supplies hoarded away, but if even 1000 new "shiny me up" characters come out of 2XP (never mind proliferation) prices could get dramatic in a hurry.

I could see KC's enjoying a bigger spike than LotG +rech's. I think more people are already prone to producing LotGs using various Merits. It's a fairly easy conclusion, since you only really need one piece of the set for what most people are doing with them. (Not that the rest of the set sucks, it's just that the +7.5% get slotted singly in a lot of places folks don't often invest many slots.)

If respecs are available for purchase, which I highly suspect that they will be. What will tank is the artificially high respec niche. It's currently being held up in the 300mil range. I suspect it will drop back down to the 100mil -150mil range
