In episode 8 of the MMOrgue, Jeremy has three correspondents call in with Skype.

They talk about Player Housing in Second Life, Everquest, Star Wars Galaxies, Star Trek Online, City of Heroes, and even the recent announcement by Cryptic Studios that Player Hideouts are coming for Champions Online.

"The silence from developers is scary, disappointing, and a lingering dark blotch on their overall PR efforts. Is there anything they could say at this point to make up for these bad decisions?"

so, we have people that aren't connected to "say, don't say" rules talking about the reality of the situation that bases are in. The ugly truth. This is what others coming to the game are going to see. I'm holding onto the hope and faith that Paragon will resolve this issue when they get the funds. It is important.

If I was a Developer I would pay very close attention to every little detail regarding the importance of a base editor, specifically, how it provides the downtime when the player is burned out on action related content that would give the player reason to stay actively subscribed to the game.

I liked what Peregrine said at the end:

"Make it functional, expandable and customizable and I'll re-sub month after month to work on my Base."

Yeah...I'll /sign that.
