Dr Quaterfield TF

Well, I mentioned this TF in another thread and one person was interested. . .

I'm thinking about running this TF at some point during the July 4th weekend. I'm off work Friday (July 1) and Monday (July 4). Given the times I already have plans, plus lots of people will probably be busy on the 4th, I'm looking at Sunday.

EDIT: Okay, settled on a time. Was chatting with several people during the Sara Moore TF today.
Sunday, July 3 at 1PM EDT

Minimum team size is 8.
Minimum level is 40 (exemps to 44).
The contact is in Firebase Zulu.

This is the longest TF in the game and, even with a good team, I would expect it to take 5+ hours.

Potential attendees:
1. me
2. Scheol
3. GATE-keeper
4. Dr A Science
5. Everything Xen
6. R-Tech
7. TemerousNox
8. Elllls
9. Simian Stalker
10. Widowmaker 14

Just to clarify, this is in addition to the normal Sat 1pm TF, not replacing, right? IIRC, you mentioned in another thread that Eden would be that week's Sat afternoon TF.

Either way works for me. I don't have a preference for which day/night we pick.

Correct. The Saturday TF will still run at 1PM EDT and it will be the Eden Trial.

That's why I didn't suggest Dr Q on Saturday. Eden at 1, then I often team with my brother and his wife on another server late Saturday afternoon.

My fort would love to careen through hordes of Rularuu at breakneck speed for hours on end. I'm game!

I'd like to join up for a Dr. Q, and Sunday works perfectly. My personal preference is any time after 2 PM Eastern, but my schedule for that day is pretty flexible.

I'm confirming my attendance. I'll be there with Dumpster Queen again (shield/axe tank).

I'd like to join you, and I can bring a bunch, but probably my Storm/Ice Defender.

I don't remember ever doing this TF before, but i just noticed that GATE-keeper already has Portal Smasher. How does one forget doing a 5 hour TF? Like last week, I did not remember ever doing Sara Moore, but didn't get the badge when we finished b/c I already had it. Must have done these a llooonnnngg time ago.

Anyway, since GATE already has the badge, I'll be bringing Statesdude, my Eng/WP brute since he needs the xp.

I know we have done it once in the Saturday at 1 p.m. group (back when Johnny was running the TFs IIRC) - maybe that's where GATE-keeper picked it up.

I really wish I could join y'all on Dr. Q, but i have somewhere to be at 5 p.m. on Sunday, so I'm pretty sure Dr. Q can't be completed in time. A couple of hours earlier, and I would jump on the team. I like doing the "rare" TFs.

Have fun!

Like how you put GATE up on the sign up twice :P. I might bring my MA/WP scrap instead, he'll be in the mid '40's by then and he could really use the xp.

I'll through Lockpick in the mix. Not sure if I can make it and it looks like you already have a full team, but if I am on I will check and see if there is still room.

Given how many have signed up already, I don't think we'll have trouble assembling two full teams. Since so many people don't visit the forums, I plan to announce the TF on some global channels a couple days in advance.

We have some flexibility in team size. Say that 14 people show up. Form a team of 8 and have one quit. The remaining 7, plus my 2nd account, form another team then my other account quits. Also, I don't think it would be hard to find some padders off global channels if we need them. I recently padded for a team that wanted to DUO the STF, so they needed 6 padders.

Well, repetition helps you remember things. I was thinking that if I listed him a couple times, it would help him remember to show up. After all, repetition helps you remember things. Also, when you repeat something, people are more likely to remember it.

I can probably show up to pad again, if needed.
