Instead, we look at the first page of virtue and see 5 rookery threads and sigh and go along our way. Or have quit checking altogether, because well, the rookery is like the black hole of the forums.
So CoH is going F2P? I'm gonna have to look into this.
Issue 21 looks interesting (anyone else notice possibly a praetorian version of warwitch in there?)
F2P model is a smart business move probably but I'm not looking forward to it. I've never been a fan of F2P mmos.
And I agree Rookery threads are a black hole of these forums, and one reason I don't really come around here much.

Honestly, why not complain about other threads in the past also. I have seen manynof them come and go.
The biggest reason people I know have stopped with the Virtue forums is due to being trolled, being told they are stupid for their opinions, and the ammount of dumb drama that tends to go on the Virtue forums.
As far as loosing other threads, i havent had a single issue with that and any announcement by The Cape, an SG or anything else. You want a reason there is so many Rookery threads? Cause people stopped posting long before the rookery due to treatment by the jerks that can be around here.

When LotRO was subscriber only, Turbine hardly made money on the game. After it went free to play, their profits exploded. CoH becoming free to play is smart from a business standpoint. It will bring in new customers to the game. With the restrictions of a trial account these days, a person trying the game can hardly experience what the game has to offer. A free player could now experience 1-50 with some restrictions, but hardly the amount of a trial. Not to mention that if they enjoy the game enough, they'll shell out a few dollars to help the game continue. I'll be staying as a VIP player. No restrictions at all for me!

We already tried that. The Rookery crowd at the time proclaimed "No we might get bored and quit posting if it's not a new thread daily!" and here we are.

weekends = 1 thread
Monday: Rookery Ice cream
Tuesday: Boms splodes
Wednesday humpity hump
thursday: Alien invasion
Friday: Yay snoopy dance friday
Sat & Sunday+ peace weekend
and that is why one thread wont work 5 days we say hi everyday and began new days. Its a new thread nobody post on old threads
they tend to go down if u notice your thread is on top for a bit then CC then something else ( like goodbye and thanks for the fish <--- not a rookery thread)
by your logic one thread destroys the moral compass of the forums and makes ppl like you run to the hills
So if Today you and X posted twice the same thread ( sup and haetrons thread) one is X's one is haetrons.
